Went into Target, found everything easily. I don't understand how the two retail giants are so different. I go to the Walmart across the street and they just finished their planogram reset... I see some Elites but the MNW figures are nowhere. Instead, AEW figures hanging from those pegs. I just don't get it One place is organized and willing to make the extra effort in order to stay profitable, and the other is already so profitable with no real effort they just don't care. |

I just don't get it For what it’s worth I think Target, as big and successful as it is, is still much smaller overall in terms of the number of store and moving parts that it has compared to Walmart. Walmart in general has always struck me as a company that is more concerned about quantity over quality, whereas Target makes more of an effort to appeal to a slightly more wealthier consumer based by being better organized both in terms of its inventory management and quality control. Point is I think Walmart is more like McDonald’s in scale whereas Target is closer to a Wendy’s or a Burger King, Walmart is all about churning out lower quality content for it’s customers to consume more rapidly while Target like Wendy’s tries to find that balance between offering a more quality experience while still being accessible enough to middle class to lower middle class Americans that they don’t seem like they’re too fancy for the average Joe to shop at on a regular basis |

My local Target still hasn't put out their stock. All good because I got my Lou from the back on street date day at 810am. When I asked to check the back, I asked for Hulk, Lou, and Yoke. I tried to explain what to look for with Hulk and Yoko, but she brought the reg for each. I asked if any other nerds like me came in before me and she said one had, but he wanted Ali only. It's annoying because I have gone back thrice (including last night) to try to score a chase Hogan. I know they're all in-stock (according to popfindr and the app, both pretty reliable). It's only 5 days into these figs, plenty of time, but just annoying is all.

My brother called me earlier feeling the Sultan madness. He found one at Target and it took him back in time. i heard the Hogan Community is NOT very happy with the SULTAN COMMUNITY atm That was surprisingly somewhat enjoyable. I like the “Drop the leg” refrain The lines about politicking were a bit much. Especially considering who his “cousin” is. I don’t think big boy Rikishi really has it in for Hulk. Silly, but like I said, surprisingly enjoyable. I had never heard of the Sultan. He was managed by Iron Sheik? That makes sense then, his rap attack against Hogan. He should have made it a homage to Hulk instead. Drop the leg. |

Does anyone know what event this Albano is based on? I know he wore the vest without the t-shirt at times etc but as he is MOC, is that from a specific event?

Does anyone know what event this Albano is based on? I know he wore the vest without the t-shirt at times etc but as he is MOC, is that from a specific event? He's wearing that attire here and it's also his LJN attire. |

I was at a near by Target when I saw one of their workers putting out merchandise in the toy dept. I took a chance and asked the guy if the Mattel boxes on his cart had any Legends 22 Sultan figures. The guy turned around and said " look, I'm tired of hearing about this Sultan toy, if it's not on the shelf we don't have it". I was stunned at his rude response but having worked retail myself in the past just chalked it up to him having a bad day. Anywho, any of you guys had similar experiences asking retail employees about their stock? |

T'was Ali himself who took the name of the 2nd greatest Sultan of all time, the ruler of Egypt and Sudan in the 1800s - the 1st being the one who ruled WWE, nay WWF, rings with an iron fist in the late 1900s! If the Sultan is not on the shelf it is because it is doing its Sultanly-duty of ruling the stockroom in the back, until such time as an employee places him on the evilest of bays where he shall once again rise to power and glory via the monies from Allah! From what I’ve seen the past two weeks around me is that I see fewer of Ali and Sultan than Hulk and Lou. Lou looks to be peg warming so hopefully I can get it on the discount.
