I thought the match was good, but definitely not top 5. Probably not even top 5 of Bryan matches for me at least. So...what are your top 5? vs Omega at Grand Slam, vs MJF at Revolution, vs Brock at SvS, vs Triple H at Mania 30, vs Cena at SS 2013

I'll go ahead and do my top 4 matches that doesn't include Danielson:
Hart vs Michaels - Wrestlemania XII Hart vs Benoit - Owen Tribute Angle/Benoit vs Edge/Mysterio - No Mercy 02 Joe vs Kobashi - ROH
Hart/Benoit is the only one that isn't set in stone. It could've been one of five different matches, at least.

Maybe it’s me not enjoying Ospreay much, but while it was a good match no doubt… his match with Danielson didn’t do much for me. I actually enjoyed Okada/PAC more… and I think Okada is extremely overrated. I dunno. I think it is essentially that you don't enjoy Ospreay. I don't mean that as a dig, I get the same way about a lot of HBK matches people love. (Which is funny to me cuz I'll watch the rockers all day long and not for weirdo Janetty.)

Now I wanna know what people put as their best or favorite matches of all time. not the best by any technical means but my favorites that I can name off the top of my head are (in no order) - WMXX: Benoit vs HBK vs HHH - WMX8: Hogan vs Rock - WMX7: Hardys vs Dudleys vs Edge & Christian - WMX7: Austin vs Rock - WM3: Hogan vs Andre - Summerslam 2000: Hardys vs Dudleys vs Edge & Christian - TNA Turning Point: AMW vs Triple X - TNA Unbreakable: Joe vs Daniels vs Styles - RAW: Undertaker vs Jeff Hardy (JR's commentary made the match plus Undertaker giving the rub at the end) - No Way Out: Angle vs Undertaker (I could make a list of just Angle matches tbh) - Survivor Series: WWF vs The Alliance - AEW Revolution: Bucks vs Omega/Page (I say that as someone who HATES the Bucks but LOVES tag team wrestling) - AEW Forbidden Door: Omega vs Ospreay - NXT Takeover 36: Gunther vs Ilja - WCW Halloween Havoc: Eddie vs Rey - NJPW: Hogan vs Inoki (1983 idk the event name but great Hogan match where he actually wrestles and then in the end he legitimately thought he hurt the Inoki bc he sold it so well/for so long. Somebody on this site actually recommended it to me) I have a lot of older stuff to catch up on but these are probably my favorites from what Ive watched. Could never have just a strict top 5 when there's so many layers to different matches and what makes one great might not make the next one great. There's just too many great styles and stories throughout pro-wrestlings long history for me to choose a handful. Some are great due to the story or the atmosphere while others are great due to the spots or masterclass in technical ability. Im sure Im leaving tons out like Bret vs Austin, HBK vs Razor Ramon, Cena vs JBL and so on.

Bryan/Ospreay was incredible. I think the only reason it's getting people riled up was because of Dave's comments on it - which in 2024 are mostly irrelevant.
Really, the only few things that knock it down a peg for me are Ospreay getting lost a couple times and the ref not paying attention to pinfalls. But just because both men have had better matches doesn't mean their work together wasn't fantastic.
