For anyone that has a complete collection (or near it) - How are you choosing to display it? Or is it being stored? I am near complete. I am missing less than 10 total, but it’s still a lot. It’s over 50 at this point. I collect MIB and display them in cube shelves.

Never was...only picked & choose my favorites.
Next purchases are the Outsiders but am disappointed they didn't come with the 97 onwards tag belts but all the extra stuff they come with will be put to good use.

The only thing I'm a true completionist on is FTIL AEW Women. Have every one of them so far on my wall including Bunny and a couple random chases.
That said, I have a complete set of Shane McMahon mattel figures (and nearly all of Jakks) loose, and I have most of the Sami and Kevin figures on my shelf. I'm missing a couple of the older Kevin's but I've grown so disillusioned with the current Sami figures that, at this point, if I want a Sami figure of a look Mattel is making, I'll steal the heads/hands/shirts off the released figures and work on customizing the look myself. The last Elite Sami I have on my shelf is Elite 102, and he's in the back. I used Elite 106 for parts and I will not be displaying the Survivor Series figure either. I made an exception for the UE, but he's modified to make him shorter and I'm seriously considering taking his legs off and swapping them with one of my many Basic 145s I have laying around.
I hate the baggy pants. So much. Absolute dealbreaker for me.

I only collect mostly legends so I’m almost out of the Ultimate game completely as most of them are Walmart exclusives. I don’t have a Walmart near me and you cant get them online. I’m not trying to pay secondary for 4 out of every 5 Ultimates I want
Side note are the RVD Ultimates still in store?

Elite will always be better. Except for when a wrestler needs an entrance jacket. Never want to have to settle for a stupid looking unarticulated rubber jacket again. Also, Ultimates need to exist because they increase the chances of us finally getting a good head sculpt for some guys. We wouldn't have a good looking RVD or Razor if it wasn't for the ultimate line.

They're so expensive and Elites (to me) are so much better than I am barely a startist!!!

I still will never understand why people gush over these figures. Especially MOC collectors. Like why does one care if something has all those points of articulation if it’s never coming out of the box or all the extra heads, hands, and accessories if they’re never gonna be utilized?

Yeah I could never be a completist because my main rule in collecting has always been if they don’t bring back a good memory of watching wrestling with my father (anything pre 3/90) or anyone post 3/90 then I need to like them or find them entertaining if not I don’t buy them. Because if I didn’t/don’t find them entertaining on TV then I certainly don’t need them taking up space on my shelves.

We wouldn't have a good looking RVD or Razor if it wasn't for the ultimate line.I don't think this is necessarily true. There is no reason to think that we wouldn't eventually get better head sculpts for guys like RVD and Razor in the elite line if UE never existed. They update scans all the time. Look at the progression of Seth Rollins in the elite line. Also, there are a few UE heads that are arguably worse than the elites. Nakamura and MNW Bret come to mind (not that they've ever really nailed Bret but the MNW ones are the worst). Even Taker has incorrect heads for the time period and Jimmy Uso has Jey's face. There are good ones sure, but we could have easily gotten them in the elite line too (just not multiple versions of each).

I never have been a completionist of any figures unless it was one of my favorite wrestlers I would also never buy a figure that was $50 or more, there are some ultimate editions that I like and have but I’ve always preferred basics and elites more sometimes I feel ultimate editions are a cash grab all to just be able to swap out hands and arms. I’ve also never liked the torsos and newer hips on ultimates but I understand why so many people like them

stopped and starting selling after they began to do re-releases This - barely buy elites and I’m down to maybe half the UEs. Less fun for me with rereleases over and over.
