Am I the only one who thinks (or cares?) that Muhammad Ali’s face sculpts bear only scant resemblance to the man? I think the eyes are too narrow and cheeks too high, as if his face has been eating nine rounds of steady jabs. As for continuation, I’m hopeful for lots of NWA and southern wrestling promotions. Weirdly enough, I think the headsculpt on the Superstars Ali looks better than his Legends & UE figs. |

The more time that has passed the more I’ve talked myself out of getting this right away. Probably gonna wait til Black Friday and pick up all the Mattel Creations exclusives when they’re BOGO or whatever deal they’ll be running.

Very excited for this and $80 is a great price. Makes up for the fact that I couldn't care less about the Ali figure but the other three look amazing. If only that upcoming Bruno elite was in this set instead of Ali.
Hope this sells really well and they do more 70s figures.

I think they work well here, and I like the change just cause it's something different. Makes it more appealing, like we're not getting a straight repaint from the last Graham (awesome as he was and glad as I am to have him). |

UPDATE!
Price point is OFFICIALLY JUST 80$$$
Also, Ali has a shredded torso and rather muscular arms under the suit; more muscular than his legends 22 figure which appears to be based on his first world title win against Sonny Liston.
This poses a fun opportunity for customizers who would like a figure of someone with the same skin tone, so consider that when selling/trading or perhaps saving the parts for your own customs.

If they were to do a second set, I'd love to see Bob Backlund/Antonio Inoki or Tatsumi Fujinami and Dusty Rhodes/Andre the Giant (redo of that Amazon exclusive with a cloth vest and new heads).  |

its a cool set, but really niche in terms of time frame. Ali is a hard sell to include here. With the other 2 already out and nobody really cares about it. I dunno, prob wont get it. But nice to see Gorilla get another release. Since we didnt get the 2 pack of him like we shouldve..

I could see getting the Legends Ali once it hits clearance, but the Ali/Monsoon side of this really bums me out, cause the pictures really give the impression that this could have been two separate two-packs. |
