If Gunther loses, then it just makes me wish they didn't even put him in the tournament in the first place.
I'm still not over him losing to Sami at Mania. Dude doesn't need another loss already.

I dont see Punk winning the title this year personally, I'm more leaning towards they giving him his big Mania moment by winning the Rumble and title at Mania. Him and Drew been killing it without any stakes so far,so I wish they leave the title to Gunther until they're ready to set up the Mania match and Drew and Punk just continues to torment and cost each other until Summer Slam where they can finish their feud up. I don’t think there’s any scenario Drew doesn’t win at Clash Then there’s Money in the Bank the following PLE. There’s a good chance that Punk could cost Drew the title to another cash-in before SummerSlam. |

Gunther vs Cody doesn’t sell SummerSlam which is the 2nd biggest event WWE does nowadays
Not to mention having Gunther lose the longest IC title reign and then return just to lose to Cody seems really dumb
Give us a heel Orton vs Cody although I do feel like it’ll be a tall task to get them to boo Orton. Unless they have him go after Dusty’s legacy and bring up the past the two shared. Also targeting Brandi could get the heat he needs

ummmm why does peacock say it starts at 11 and will be 7 hours so 11-1 will be pre-show but is it really supposed to be 5 hours?? It says 7pm-10:15pm on WWE Network for me, so a little over 4 hours, 2 hour pre show before. 6 hours total. |

He really needs a longer run as champion now. If Gunther wins the KOTR he is designated to become the next Raw champion. The only alternative I can think of is let him challenge Cody at Summer Slam and give him a hell of a fight that both can benefit from. Let’s face it Cody is laking a good story at the moment and Gunther might be able to solve that issue. |

The crowd will be split during an Orton/Cody match no matter what they have Orton do...short of killing Pharaoh. Regardless, the match needs to happen, and Summerslam seems like the right place. |
