That match was much worse than Ilja v Ricochet last week, but considering who his opponent is, not a surprise that the match quality lacked big time.

This RAW felt really, really weak. Don't think I have been this tuned out of a RAW since I started watching again in early January. Hoping SmackDown is better.

He can't be distanced from his fam if the plan is the fam becoming the main story again. Could've been more of an option if, say, Cody Rhodes was granted the chance to end that story on his terms. But nobody wants the main babyface to do babyface things anymore, especially if they really aren't the main babyface after all. |

Jey going over Ilja was the right decision. There's a better, longer story to tell between Ilja and Gunther.

Yeah, let's waste Gunther/Ilja III in the semi finals of a tournament no one has cared about for decades on a random episode of Raw... Let them build it into something special.
No issues with the result, but Raw overall wasn't the best.
