Not sure how others are doing, but I find it ironic that I have been way more successful in finding Piper than Yoko. For the last handful of years WM has been far more inferior that Target at stocking exclusives. Yet if I was a major league ballplayer, my average of Piper has me on course for the Hall of Fame (easily 9 sightings out of 12 stores, 9/12) while Yoko would get me sent down to the minors (0/8). And I'm talking even the regular Yoko. Small sample size yes, but still.
I could get Yoko online yes, but that's not the point. And if I don't see it in-person then I don't want it.
Just an ironic musing that I noticed.
*Bret MNW UE is blah and I don't count it

This is Yokos first ultimate it also happens to be a chase. It's gonna move faster than pipers 2nd ultimate.

It's been strange seeing the MNW ultimates readily available for purchase. I had written them off as figures that I'd never find.
I've noticed that with Legends, Targets at least in my area will get an initial shipment that goes quickly because word is getting out and many people are hunting and then a couple weeks go by before another large shipment. So I expect Yokozuna to be easy to find in the near future. I saw many Legends Ultimates sitting on pegs at sale prices the last few waves.
I do wonder if store pickup is kind of changing things a bit though. That's how I tend to get most of my Legends these days and it makes me wonder if a lot of these figures are being bought and picked up through the app before ever hitting the sales floor. This might be a factor in never seeing particular figures if you are a walk in store hunter only.

Yoko is available online right now so definitely easier finding him.

I’ve seen one set Piper and Hart at one of four stores I regularly hit once. I am still trying to find a set for JokerFC so I’ve been to them multiple times over the last few weeks. With Yoko I have seen multiple Yoko figure minus the chase at 5 Targets multiple times now. Plus he’s available on their app. So Yoko has been 100x easier to find here. |

Def to each their own. That's where we differ my friend. Not much beats finding figs on pegs after months and months of searching. Will never forget finding the Fiend wave of MOTU WWE (and only saw em the one time) or blue boots Hogan or chase Razor UE after he had been released for 6 months. Ask my wife about my pure giddiness at recently finding ATG and Doink as if I was a kid on Christmas morning (she would disagree as I more than embarrassed her with my reaction)! Gimme that stress that you speak of though, because a hit makes it all worth it. Plus, with a wife and 2 young kids, I really don't have a social life. But I do have a bad a** wife that has no issue with me going on a 2 hour hunt on the weekend if we don't have anything else going on (family comes first 110%). To her, there could be a lot worse for me to get into and spend money on, and it makes me happy. To me, there is no "wasted gas", it's an escape with just me, the open roads, my music, and hopefully a toy score or 2. |

I did not expect the Andre to be that hard to find, but I was lucky enough to grab it back before Christmas. Strangely enough Doink took me forever to grab (but I've seen it plenty recently), and the Andre is nowhere. Are people ordering multiple of Yoko for pickup and just returning the non-chases? I just went with whatever they shipped me and called it day. Wondering if the production #s on the MNW UEs was higher after the RA ones were such a pain to get. I've seen re-stocks of them in certain stores already which I would have never expected. |
