ESPECIALLY for Monday Night Wars, since he was used in storylines on Nitro and eventually survived the WWE takeover and was integrated into WWE. Robinson seems taylor-made for Monday Night Wars..... some of these decisions they made are baffling. Well Cone is in SummerSlam Elites, not MNW. We made him first as he was the first “true” referee we gained access to so we got to work right away. Not that complicated. I’m begging you guys to please make more. I need referees with modern logos, scratch logos, block logos, and solid blue shirt Golden Era/New Gen refs. 3-5 of each era. One referee is crucially important, but sometimes one gets inadvertently knocked out during a match and you need another to come down to count the pin. Or when a pull apart brawl breaks out, you gotta have multiple refs to ineffectively pull the wrestlers apart. |

Are we all forgetting about Danny Davis? Isn’t he the first “true” referee in the line? Yes, that’s true. I have him, I love that figure, I’m eternally grateful I have that figure. But he’s a flashback and I consider him a special case because he was technically a WWF wrestler. I lump him in with Shawn Michaels. I guess technically Shawn Michaels was the first referee in full referee garb. But again, he’s not really a referee. It’s taken 14 years for a modern day bonafide referee in the Mattel line. I’m talking the equivalent of that Jakks BCA referee figure that I never found in stores and wanted so badly. |
