Hello, all. Please forgive me if this has been answered on another thread (I did try searching.). Is the Greatest Hits 4 Hulk Hogan a re-release of the Survivor Series Elite? The reason I am asking is because the GH4 head/scan is a million times better than the original SS googly-eyed release. This replacement scan seems like a dramatic upgrade, one which justifies buying this one, as well.

The Hollywood Hogan? It has the updated/improved butterfly joints and the hot dog tan.

It is SvS but a different head instead of derpy looking one that I believe first came with the RSC American Made Hogan.

Wait there’s red & yellow Hogan’s coming in the Greatest hits line also? When were they announced? During the WrestleMania week previews. “2024 WWE Mattel Elite Collection Greatest Hits Series 4” is the assortment, due out in July. |

This replacement scan seems like a dramatic upgrade, one which justifies buying this one, as well. This rerelease is much nicer than the original, IMO. The big improvement, as others mentioned, is the head. It’s the crazy eyed portrait from Ult 13. So much better than the head that came with the Survivor Series figure. Another difference is the headband. The Survivor Series figure from a couple of years ago had a wider headband with a much bigger font. The headband that comes with this Greatest Hits 4 figure is the thinner headband seen with Ult 13 (white), and last year’s Basic Series 139. Basic 139 was darker/more maroon. So, that’s arguably a new - or at least a never before seen - accessory. Although I don’t recall Hulk ever wearing a thin red headband…. |
