 Raw preview, May 20, 2024: Jey Uso looks to take down Gunther in King of the Ring Semifinal
Tonight, Jey Uso will try to take down Gunther as they clash in the King of the Ring Semifinal.
“Main Event” Jey has defeated Finn Bálor and Ilja Dragunov prior to the semifinal while The Ring General dispatched Sheamus and Kofi Kingston.
The last time these two competed in the ring, The Ring General was the Intercontinental Champion and retained his title against Jey following interference from Jimmy Uso.

Tonight, Lyra Valkyria takes on IYO SKY in a Queen of the Ring Semifinal Match for the chance to compete for the crown at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
Valkyria has been on a hot streak since being drafted to Raw, having defeated Dakota Kai and Shayna Baszler in the tournament.
SKY has rebounded since losing her WWE Women’s Title to Bayley at WrestleMania XL, defeating Natalya and Shayna Baszler to earn her place in the semifinal.

These two Superstars will contend with “Big” Bronson Reed in a Triple Threat Match for Zayn’s Intercontinental Title at King and Queen of the Ring, but the rivalry between Zayn and Gable has reached nuclear.

Seems weird they're giving us Chad and Sami on Raw when they've been building it yet they add Bronson Reed to the mix and have a triple threat on PPV.

Twist: We get the Semi-Finals tonight and Friday night. Then Saturday we get the REAL Semi-Finals, with the winner of the men’s tournament facing the winner of the women’s tournament for the King and Queen of the Ring.
Gunther defeats Nia Jax in Saudi.

this storyline kinda sucks because nobody really cared about alpha academy since they rarely won or did anything of note, but then now we're supposed to have sympathy? id rather see this be a progression where they all actually start following Gable more
