What we really need is a lot of Muhammad Ali as Macho Man figures so we can finally get soft good jackets or robes to put on our other Macho Man figures. I heard Ali makes stuff happen! They'll have to up production numbers so it'll never sell out that way collectors can buy as many as they want! 😉👍 |

Yeah he got plenty of that attire. No more...  I think everyone is getting wayyy ahead of themselves.... just because he got a "Supercard" or whatever, all of a sudden we're telling Mattel which attire figures we want.... I'm not convinced we've got a figure contract, yet... That being said..... Wrestlemania 8 attire, complete with Hat/Glasses/Jacket this time, please. They really skimped on the original Elite. That would be nice. But they need to use a metallic paint to get the gold right. The one they used on the previous figure was dull. |

They both did a great job re-inventing themselves for the monday night war era.
They also both need more ultimate editions. I hope they both get re signed this year and mattel throes a ton of them both at us

I honestly believe if WWE wasn't so incredibly greedy, they would have a much more robust array of Legends offerings available.
The exclusivity for alumni is absurd, these guys are retired and deserve multiple revenue streams. In the case of the deceased, why would their estates want exclusive deals for paltry sums, when they can spread the IP out across many companies?
I'm thankful for MajorWFPod, Powertown, and the many other licensors who are giving fans great products, and not trying to take advantage of the talents and their families.

I honestly believe if WWE wasn't so incredibly greedy, they would have a much more robust array of Legends offerings available. They are incredibly greedy. They won't even renew rights for certain entrance music on their old pics and put in some generic crap that sticks out like a sore thumb. |

That being said, I have a bunch in my collection. At some point someone gave me a whole box of Hasbros. They are nice for displaying. At the time I felt they looked too goofy and un-poseable. Nostalgia is a funny thing, these things seem more beloved today than they were at the time... I didn't feel like I could "play" with them and they weren't all that poseable - many of the LJN's barely stand up right. They are/were like statues that don't balance well. Many of them lack detail or are inaccurate. I like them a little bit more now because they are "classic" and collectible..... but they weren't very practical as toys. Unpopular hot take. |
