Theres always going to be people disapointed and people complaining , just ignore them if they bother you
I think its going to be a good con and i think they will have some great figures to show but i wont lose my mind if they dont. They are just action figures, ill be happy if we get a few cool legends tbh
Ill be very happy if we get some old legends resigned like macho, flair, sting, l.o.d, demolition, rick martel etc
And i would be extremely happy to see new signings like Hercules, Roma, mountie, giant gonzalez, dino bravo even if they are all unlikely

I don’t think they’re all because of Vince. I’d say some Vince were open to but they didn’t want to and/or their families. This could be a very interesting con as far as returning legends. The timeframe is right that if Vince himself was not letting anyone back due to personal grudges, well that time has passed and if there were a lot, we could see them back. Road Warriors, Demolition, Dynamite Kid, The Barbarian, etc, etc, etc, If we see a lot of new Legends, that will be why. Heck, with Vince gone, maybe that would be more positive for Sting's return. Vince leaving might open up some doors, but most companies won't do business with people after being sued by them and usually if they do, it's because there is money to be made (like CM Punk, Warrior, Sable etc.) Basically, I don't think Vince is the sole person holding back most of those deals. Their lawyers probably advised against it too. It's basically blacklisting people and making an example so more people don't do it in the future. Any company would do it, not just Vince. And there is a cost associated with defending those lawsuits that they aren't going to recoup with a Legends deal with Mantaur. The opposite could also be true. Vince could be the reason why we got Mabel, Paul Orndorf, etc. (For example, if he had a soft spot for them/their family).

Wow, it's almost as if there's a really good chance people are going to be disappointed when SDCC doesn't hold up to their expectations. Maybe we ought to all be like "I hope for pretty pieces of plastic" and call it a day. I'm not too sure what to expect honestly, I don't think I'll be disappointed just because I know the stuff I want from Mattel isn't the priority.

Vince has been known to hold grudges and be very vindictive time to time. That may affect 2% of the wrestlers but there are a few wrestlers who fell on vinces craplist that would have never seen the light of day while he was in charge. Hercules hernandez is one of those guys unfortunately. He also wasnt the biggest draw ever so theres not a lot of reason to just let bygones be bygones with him for instance

Was he part of the steroids and/or concussions suits? Hercules is one of my top wanted and is a sorely missing legend for modern collectibles (and no, the ZST doesn’t count for me).

No one really knows for sure but theres like 3 things that could be part of it
1. Bret said once that after a night of drinking that vince came to hang out with the boys and wanted everyone to do their finisher on him. The guys all gave him pretty soft versions of their moves, Herc apparently wasnt interested in this game but when he put him in the torture rack that he did, he dropped him hard on the floor and bret said vince gave him a look that basically said you will regret that
2. He no sold Sids powerbomb on his last? Wwf match. He took the move, did the 1-2-3 and then got up and walked away and at the time, they were pushing Sid hard as a monster so that was a bad move for herc
3 . Roma has said a lot of stuff about vince and hhh and hbk on youtube shoot videos and accused them of a lot of crazy stuff and that may affect herc in one way or another. Roma claims that there was a lot of sexual harrassment to the guys from patterson and he speaks out about it often and has done so well before any of the me too movement
He may have done something during the steroid scandal or even been a part of a lawsuit for all i know, those are the 3 biggest reasons i assume hes blackballed.

I believe his wife also spoke out/piled on against WWE/Vince right after the Chris Benoit murders when they were really under scrutiny from the media.

This is the perfect time to give us a Wolfpac Hogan with red flame boots, white gloves, hat and that deep sweet tan. Sign Billy Kidman if you can Mattel!

I have to say getting the Ultimate Steiner Brothers (preorder) already makes my year. Anything else we get from 82-93 that I might be interested in will just be a bonus. Probably the first time I can say that.
