It's oddly relieving to know that I'm not the only one that has questioned why I just can't seem to easily get new figures the last while, as sad as that is. It's a shame, cos' a lot of these new lines are definite wants for me.
I managed to score a Series 1 Undertaker. That's all so far.

Or it's just a matter of can I fork out extra just to obtain them. which is getting less worth it at the moment. |

This happened with series 1. One Walmart got the set in a Wrestlemania shipper. Then a few months later they got one set in to sell on the shelf. Hoping that same Walmart gets a shipper in but it’s not looking good. If they do I expect at least one more set of mnw elites on the shelf. They do have pegs for these figures they don’t stock.

Stopped by a WALMART while visiting my parents & snagged a Stevie Ray MNW 3 & a Dom Mysterio with bandanna/glasses on 109. Pretty solid pop I. Trip, especially since Stevie Ray is definitely the gem of the set.

The Triple H figure is *horrible* -- I assume it is only there to be the "anchor" figure -- yet he's the one absolutely no one wants.
Again, terrible choice by Mattel. I get HHH is a big name, but you *know* this figure will rot, esp. when it looks like that...
So it's no "anchor" figure at all.

Why did they list that Rock as night after Mania 14? That was a significant attire as it was the first time he debuted the Brahma Bull tattoo IIrC.

When I found my shipper this past weekend in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, all of the RVDs were gone and they were the only figures bought out of the entire display...so now I have a headless Disciple. I still never saw Series 1 or Series 2, so I swore off Mattel for their incredibly lousy distribution, but I got FOMO when I saw the shipper and snapped up what I could. Hoping people army build these RVDs for customization or whatever so they will sell some Disciple heads on eBay. Ended up finding another shipper in York, PA on Saturday. Was so stoked to see an RVD, but should have been suspicious when there were no other MNW figures on the thing...got it home, opened it up...someone stole the Disciple head. Just my luck. |
