We all know who the KOTR winners were, but imagine if those people were not in the tournament and you had to rebook the first three events to crown a new king. Who would you go with?
1993 - Mr. Perfect
He could have really benefitted from a KOTR win to elevate his comeback as a babyface.
1994 - Diesel
The guy already had a banner year in 1994. Might as well go all in and give him the crown to really cement him as an unstoppable monster.
1995 - Bam Bam Bigelow
Coming off the loss to LT at WrestleMania, I think a heel turn and having win the KOTR would have really helped build his stock back up.

I agree with Perfect for 93. He was in limbo as a baby during this time so a big win here wouldve def gave em a resurgence
94- Luger. After his failed main event babyface run, give em the crown here then turn em heel at SSlam in the match with Tatanka.
95- Bam Bam for sure. Rebuild em back up as a monster heel to challenge Diesel in Pittsburgh

1993 Crush: Look, I am a massive Crush fan so I may be the only one who sees this, but Crush was so over in 1992 and his thing with Doink and him not winning the IC title at WrestleMania made him look like a chump! I would have had him beat Doink in the finals, would have been a good way to bring that story to a close with Crush going over.
1994 Lex Luger: Not only would I have had Lex Luger win here, I would have had him align with Ted Dibiase and turn heel on the same night. At the start of the show or on the RAW before the event, have Ted Dibiase talk about him starting a Million Dollar Corporation and that one of the men in the tournament has been bought and will be revealed. I would then have Lex Luger and Razor Ramon in the finals of the tournament with Ted at ringside, Lex and Razor would have been able to keep the crowd guessing for the whole match.
1995 Bam Bam Bigelow: After getting canned from the Corporation, he goes on a rampage through the WWF, I would have had him as an absolute monster who did very little talking and he would just squash guys. If they could have had something good going with Diesel as the main event of the PPV, I would actually have had Bam Bam squash all three guys on his way to winning the King of the Ring. Then have him interfere once Diesel beats whoever it is he beats in the main event and destroy him too, setting up their fued for the summer.

I am still surprised they didn't go the monster heel route with Bam Bam after WrestleMania XI and instead pushed Mabel to the moon. It was such easy and obvious booking. Making him a lame mid-level babyface was an absolute death sentence.

I've fantasy booked Bam Bam on here in 1995 a few times....it was just so obvious & there were so many disposable guys for him to plow through all Summer.
No1 contenders match between himself & Bret @ Great White North would have been brilliant.

Don't know if I could rebook the first 2, Bret and Owen were both great choices. However, if Bret was still the WWF Champion at this time, having the Narcissist win it to go on and face Bret at SSL93, that would have been interesting.
Owen was the right choice for 1994, it really helped his new heel persona, and boosted him to the WWF title scene with Bret at SSL94. But, with that being said, I do like peoples idea of letting Lex Luger win it and turning heel then aligning with Ted DiBiase. The Made in the USA persona wasn't going anywhere for him at this time, so turning him back heel as the Narcissist would have been a good choice. Letting him have the Bob Backlund spot with the WWF title, beating Bret for it at SSE94 and losing it to Diesel at either RR95 or WM11, would have been better than Backlund holding it for a week or so.
Bam Bam is the right choice for the 1995 winner. Keep him a monster heel, and use this to push him into the main event scene with Bret, Taker, Diesel, HBK, Razor, etc. He would have been a much better choice to face Diesel at SSL95 than Mabel.

Agree with 94 and 95. Only variation I’d add is have Luger win 93. Give him that first ‘title’ and raise his profile. A hard fought final match against Bret Hart would give him a further rub. Then the following he slams Yokozuna, beats him for the title at SSlam 93. Screwed out of the title at RR94 thanks to interference by Ludvig Borga in a match with Yoko, leading to a Borga/Lex feud in the run up to Wrestlemania X. Meanwhile, RR winner Bret faces and beats Yoko at WMX.
