Hey are some of you know I am having health issues and I am not sure what is going to happen until I see the Cardiologist on Monday. But I do know I will be spending less time on here so I asked them again to make The Brain a co-mod here to help pick up the slack. So let’s welcome him as the new Co-Mod. Congrats

Sorry to hear you aren't doing well, PJ. I really hope you get well soon. In honor of that, I will not make any Sting, clown jokes, or even mention that you like guys who wear skirts... until you get better.

Get well soon, PJ. You're one of a kind, pal. Now, onto business. I know The Brain's favorite wrestler is Hulk Hogan. So I absolutely cannot wait to have the classic section running wild!

I’ll throw this in here. A quick update.
My blood sugar dropped into the low 50’s yesterday morning and I tried raising it by eating a bag of peanut m&m’s, a chocolate chip cookie and a protein bar. But it only raised it to 89 before dropping again an hour later. Even though I had an appointment with him today we called my endocrinologist and he had me come in yesterday.
He changed my insulin dose and said if it happens again drink juice and eat and call him. And not to worry even if it gets up to 250 because he would rather it be high over it being to low in the 50’s because when it’s low like that I get blurry vision and light headed. Actually that happens to me if it drops below 80. But he says I have a condition that because I had such a high count for so long that my system considers an 80 like a 60. But it will eventually correct itself. He also noticed a very slight swelling in my legs and thinks we need to change the dosage of my blood pressure medication, but is holding off on that until I see the cardiologist and sees what he thinks. And then I see him again in two weeks.
And last night after dinner around 7:30 it hit 230. By 9:30 it had dropped to 134. I was worried that it dropped that much so fast that I said to my wife if she wakes up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom wake me so I could check it again. Well at around 2:15 this morning I checked it and it was 89. Then I woke up again at 4 and it was in the 60’s so I went into the kitchen and had a snack. I haven’t called him yet, but after breakfast it’s been holding at 150. I still have to take my insulin, but I think we are going to do a smaller dose to see how low it goes. Until he gets back to us.
And yesterday my mother-in-law called the cardiologist office to see if they had any cancellations to see me sooner. They just called back and said they can see me tomorrow at 1:50 instead of Monday. So hopefully we’ll know more then.
Thanks for the prayers and well wishes they are greatly appreciated

PJ I hope you get good news and they can get things sorted out for you and be on the way back to good health. Know my grandpa had a hard time keeping his blood sugar levels at a good number and it was a continual challenge with changing insulin amounts. Praying for you PJ.
Brain congrats brother (not in a Hogan voice at all really honest 😉) Someone needs to keep the humanoids in line
