Summerslam honestly is sad to say looking like a yawn fest.
I get that this push for Solo is going to lead to a Reigns babyface turn but Cody/Solo just does not scream main event. Doesnt help that everyone keeps promo’ing on the current bloodline as Bloodline 2.0 or Bloodline-lite (even though it is), doesnt really help solidify Solos main event status.
Neither does Gunther/Priest, I’ve hated every bit of Priests world title run. Multiple botches in the ring, stumbles through promos, comes across as someone trying to hard to be cool/has that “it” factor but just doesnt.
Bayleys title run has been booked poorly, and fear we’re going to have to suffer through an Nia title run which is somehow even worse.
LA Knight winning the US Title and Drew/Punk are the only positives. Hoping we see a Bron/Sami rematch where Bron takes the IC title.

Keith Lee posted on Twitter “man if what I’m hearing is true poor Walter” basically tweeting about how Gunther is going to be used poorly and he is going to be a huge success in AEW….well So every accolade there is a ton of wonderful Keith Lee memes. It’s been something. Just because Lee rightfully had a negative experience with being told to change his name, his look, his style, and to lose weight.
