Hear ye! Hear ye! As the longest serving WF member in this thread ("Sir Assassin" if you will) and in the name of King RSCTom, I hereby dub this phenomenon "Cage Match Variants". And to the WF commonfolk - I apologize on behalf of my fellow WF knights of 2002, Sir PJ and Sir Midnight: Dark Knight for failing their duty to instigate the official naming ceremony. What if one of the WF lords of 2001 had been here?! "Off with their headscans!" they'd have said. Now that I have saved your very lives, as per tradition, you two must now pledge your dedication to the holy quest for the Serious Headscan DDP figure. Only once it is achieved will your honor be fully restored. |

My main want for Comic Con is for @theassasin to get a serious face DDP. The poor guy has been asking for it forever!!

My thoughts on this are mixed.
I fully agree that a broader solution to this problem lies in fixing the return policy. Because as much as these might stop people from tearing into a figure in store and removing a belt or something, it will do nothing to stop repacks.
That said, I also agree that this photo shows that the company has indeed recognized swaps/repacks/parts theft as a problem worth addressing. Prior to this I've not seen much evidence that any major retailer even cared. So as far as that goes, this IS a step in the right direction in that aspect.
Hopefully this leads to an even better solution to the problem. Not holding my breath, but I'm grateful for even this step.
