I personally dont see the appeal of the retro style figures especially at the prices they go for. I think I'm just too young to appreciate them Yea those things are way overpriced Yeah but, breaking it down to about $32.50 per figure that seems to be about average for a vintage homage figure line made by a small company with a small run. It does make me appreciate that Powertown were able to give their licensed Remco figures Origins-style articulation, multiple hands, belts, soft goods while keeping the price at $25. Not sure how they managed to pull that off for being a small company.

the Big Rubber Guys are probably the most baffling to me. I'm glad collectors are happy with them, and they get sign some great names id love to done again by Mattel, but 50 bucks a piece for how simple they are is crazy to me Theres a lot to take into consideration. These are very niche items by an independent toy company producing at extremely low numbers. Then there’s the cost of licensing the names and likenesses of pretty big name talent. And these are big solid heavy figures so shipping costs has to be outrageously expensive. Honestly, $50 seems pretty reasonable. Fair point. I suppose as long as the collectors are happy that's all that matters

Excuse me Mr Tom! But some of us round these parts are really really slow! And frankly, I don't see what EXCLUSIVE information you, as an employee of RINGSIDE COLLECTIBLES, could ULTIMATEly provide regarding Mattel making us the STEINER BROTHERS toys we've been begging for for the last year or TWO- So how about you PACK it in, and go work on planning this year's RINGSIDE FEST! While I enjoyed this it is inaccurate Tom, you deceived me.

RSCTom, since you were the only one to get Mattel to quit dragging their feet and finally release the Steiner Brothers... Can you get them to release this as one of the next/upcoming RSC exclusive UE 2-packs? 1990/91 Hart Foundation: All pink attire (their nickname down the sides of the legs, "Hart Foundation" written on the back of the trunks). Silver shades for Bret, regular shades and the pink beanie for Jim: And the Sgt. Pepper style jackets: 90s WWF Tag Titles would be nice, too:

If Mattel can nail this look I would be over the moon

I'm glad collectors are happy with them, and they get sign some great names id love to done again by Mattel, but 50 bucks a piece for how simple they are is crazy to me once you've held a BRG in person, you'd understand the price. Other companies are charging almost the same amount for what amounts to a Hasbro figure. The fact that BRG's are $50 with free shipping is insane, their margin must be razor thin.

Wrestling collectors complaining about the price 🤦 I personally dont see the appeal of the retro style figures especially at the prices they go for. I think I'm just too young to appreciate them it's definitley an age thing. the people buying these retros are likely all guys who were born before 1986....and had Hasbro's as kids. and you also have to really have a nostalgia for them. I love Hasbros and the Mattel retro line, but that's where I stop. I think these retro figures by the indie companies are cool, but its overkill, half of them take years to come out, a couple of the companies are absolute garbage...the only guys doing it right IMO are Zombie and Hasttel...but even they are with faults.

Wrestling collectors complaining about the price 🤦 Ringside could have charged $90 for this and still gotten it, I was honestly shocked that the price was basically "retail"...made it even easier to pre-order....which I rarely do. But these being some of the most-wanted/most anticipated figures in a long time the numbers have to be pretty high in the sold column.

I was more than happy to fork over 75 bucks for these, especially with free shipping. Obviously if they were somehow cheaper that'd be cool too but considering it's two highly anticipated ultimates with the outer case if you ordered the two pack I'm not bothered by the price at all
