To be honest, this is one of the figures of the year for me. I’m a big Hogan fan and I really like his time in Japan. I never thought this figure would happen with Mattel and even mentioned to my wife right before it was announced that I wish this look could get released….then boom.
It might be a niche time period for fans, but he was awesome in Japan if you never had the chance to watch any.
And let’s be honest, almost every Legends wave seems over produced and clogs the pegs a bit. So I get some of the complaints, but at least we can find these figures and chases at Target, unlike Walmart. If this Series was at Walmart we’d never find them.
My question is, why can’t Walmart order cases of each person like Target so we can actually find things. Why can’t each Walmart get single cases or each MNW Elite figure and etc.

There's a couple of locations around me that must have severely over ordered. Two stores had full pegs and two end caps full of clearanced legends, mostly Hogan

Well, I have 2 ichiban Hogans, if I see any on clearance I’m def picking up more. I’ve never seen a target loaded like that.

I genuinely cannot remember the last time my local Target had a mainline Elite on the shelves. Maybe one E98 Orton? My Target is always clogged with Legends and Top Talents series that don’t move. We haven’t even gotten Basics/Main Event series lately. Last set that was there was 141, and even then it was brief.
I’d love to know how some people on IG are finding E109 in Target…

In my area, Golden Era Hogan sells much better than 70's or early 80's Hogan. I suspect it's like that in many places. Not sure how Mattel hasn't recognized that and made the appropriate adjustments before all of this.

I bought 2 of this figure at full price, but if I find them clearance, you bet your butt I'm going to buy more. I'm still in the hunt for a chase version too.

Muhammad Ali is definitely the better seller from this series but the numbers might have been produced less compared to Hogan. I'm waiting for it to reach $6-$7 to complete the series.

Stopped by target and saw this today  So we have 6 sultans. I know this target has already sold out of atleast 5 Sultans. So does someone at the store see they sell well and then they decide let’s order more? How many per case are they? Or do they just say hey, we need 10 more Sultans |

Well when WWE will only sign 20 or so legends to deals this is what you get. Repeat after repeat of the same wrestlers. Just look at what Zombie and G&G have been able to do. I’d love elites of the Godwins, Bastion Booger, Slick, OMG, Dino Bravo, Power & Glory, Mountie, Men On Mission, Adam Bomb ect…..I’ve spent probably close to $1000 that I’d rather give to Mattel because I prefer Elites over retros. 🤷♂️
