So, I saw a picture online of the Summerslam shipper and thought, well, I did need some groceries (desperately) why not see if I can make it to walmart. I get to walmart, drive the cart to the WWE figures section (which is still in the board game aisle) And...  No, do not adjust your monitor, this was taken today (well, technically yesterday. Sunday June 30th, 2024). Two cases of Top Picks 2021 I believe it is. I lost my mind. The boxes were trashed, like they'd been smashed in the corner of a warehouse for 3 years... which considering all the figures inside were perfectly intact, I'm pretty sure that's what happened. Someone found the case buried somewhere and put them out. Except... When I got to the register, the John Cena I grabbed (because why not) rang up at $5.80 after tax. Yeah, I think I may go back and see about grabbing at least one more Cena for parts. You can't get a minty loose Cena on secondary for 6 bucks shipped, let alone one still in box. Simply unreal. Made my day. |

So my Walmart got the same Top Picks figs in last month. They all moved well and now guess what they just got? The Top Picks line with Roman, Goldberg and Jeff Hardy. I was baffled.

These Top Picks series were made specifically for mass retail stores but they still aren't found there. I still haven't seen Top Picks 2023 anywhere. |

Found this same set at a Wal-Mart maybe a month or so ago (with actual trashed boxes, those are totally resale worthy).
Another one had the set with Jeff Hardy and Goldberg.
Stuff do be falling behind the warehouse racks out back sometimes.
If you could get unfettered access to a Wal-Mart's back room, you'd be at least semi-likely to find some relics from the past.

One Wal Mart near me got the set with Goldberg, Hardy and Ray in. I picked up Goldberg for $13
Found another WM last night that had the set with Drew McIntyre I would’ve picked him up but they were still near full price ($19.99)

I once found a hasbro series 1 big bossman figure at an Ace Hardware store in 2005. That is my craziest figure hunt story. It was marked $3.99, which I believe was still the full retail price from 1991.

I actually found that exact same set Top Picks set the week the aisle resets happened, although there was only 1 full set, not several of each

I went to Walmart in Panorama City, CA yesterday and it was stacked! Best I’ve seen in a while! Picked up Gunther I’ve been waiting to come in store for ages
Walmarts around here doing good, the Targets still only have Legends 22 😭

My two Walmarts also had random old sets and random figures. The one had like Gronk and a few other randoms I thought a collector was just returning randoms to Walmart but guess they are clearing out warehouses?
