Found this in NJ today, not a single figure was taken. It had tons of E107, Top Picks, Summerslam & tons of HHH MNW, saw 2-3 Rey’s, 1 Nash & 2 Fake Diesels where? |

Jamestown, ND just put out a fresh shipper full of the new top picks (Gunther, rey), series 108, mnw series 2 and 3, plus the summerslam set.
I purchased a set of mnw series 3. Unfortunately they had only 1 regular Booker t and 1 chase Stevie ray so they don't match. I mainly wanted this set for the build-a-beefers figure. Also grabbed Luger and x-pac and a mnw series 2 Nash to complete the original nwo.
There were at least 2 chase Chelsea Green figures and about 10 LA Knights on the shipper.

From what i've seen it looks like most shippers are coming with only one full set of either MNW series 2 or 3. How the hell can they only send 1 full set on a giant shipper?! Mine appeared to have 2 cases of mnw 2 and 1 case of series 3 on it. |

At least you saw one I guess? I still can't believe anyone really thinks this satisfies the demand for these figures, especially MNW. There is zero reason why these shippers aren’t stuffed with MNW 2 and 3. It’s obvious that the people in charge of inventory have no clue about the product. Thats where Mattel needs to help Walmart. This shouldn’t be that hard.
I'm not saying I agree with this -- or it's true -- but they might think that for younger or more casual fans, mainline Elites sell better than MNW.
Again -- just another perspective they might have (regardless of it they are right or not).

I've heard of a few Walmarts near me getting these in. Of course they were all picked thru within hours.
The MNW line was something I was originally on the fence about. I decided to buy series 1 but with the distribution of this line I've lost all interest.

I have checked at least 3x/day since June 30th and have struck out each time. I will continue to do so until I find it. I don't care if it will be another week. I am not the least bit frustrated or upset; it is what it is. On the other hand, I enjoy the hell out of it! Toy hunting is insanely fun and a great escape!

Moonman - if you’re in Wisconsin check New Berlin first thing tomorrow. They had the shipper but wouldn’t put any figures out on the floor. Said they were setting it up 3rd shift. It was loaded but only MNW Series 2, didn’t see anything for Series 3.

The amount of money that Walmart has decided they want to lose ion figures s baffling -- UNLESS, you read all the figure finding reports here and see people going to so many Walmarts so many times to find MNW and other eclusives.
I bet some people have bought other stuff there -- Walmart knows that, and is just using these figures to get people into their stores more. They don't care about online exclusives, because they don't lead to as many sales outside of the figures...

The last time I was at walmart, they said they had it in the back but wasn't putting it up until overnight. Meant to go back, but got really sick and couldn't make it.

I don't buy anything unless its figures or I'm looking for figures apart of a planned grocery trip.
I'm not buying a Coke and candy bar each stop. I'll walk out completely empty handed if I don't find figures.

I think I’m out on the Monday night wars and Superstars lines. Empty pegs, no shippers, horrible distribution, zero online availability, cancelled preorders, but yet this retail giant is still given store exclusive items…what a joke.

Wal-Mart loves me. I'm definitely the Coke and a candy bar shopper. I also like their licensed tees so I'll look for those while I'm hunting. Maybe grab some stuff I need, whether it's shaving stuff or what have you. I'm definitely playing my part in the machine.
I give 'em all one stars on the self checkout though cause of the way they tried to hose me once with a damaged Switch Lite. I hold a mean grudge, but I'm definitely a consumer ho.

Yeah I'm a sucker too, I generally grab $30 worth of groceries when I'm in there (even if they didn't have the wrestling figs I was looking for). Which is why I need to stop going. They never have the figures and I still grab my essentials while I'm there. I'm a total sucker and they are winning. ONE STAR when there are no wrestling figs. Every single time. If, by chance there would be wrestling figs? Five Stars. Hasn't happened in a long, long time. |

Curious to see if series 3 MNW preorders will actually ship I ordered Harlem Heat on DAY ONE and the other two a little later when I realized they really weren't distributing these things. No idea what to expect but I've already bailed on the retail side of this line and I'm out altogether if these pre-orders get cancelled. Bad enough they're sending them out to stores now a month before the pre-orders are due to ship. |
