Assuming they'd have to pair with a wrestler
Heenan and Andre
Heenan and Monsoon
Blassie and Sheik
Albano and Davey Boy Smith (Assuming Dynamite isn't on the table)
Jimmy Hart and Adrian Adonis
Okerlund and maybe the Hogan repaint
Fuji and Warlord (Assuming Barbarian isn't available)
Savage and Liz
But I'd I could just pick the managers I'd want the most give me Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. That Albano that just came out is good enough for me, though I would but an ultimate

Personally, no one. I don’t wanna have to pay $70 for a manager who doesn’t really need all the extra articulation. Just give me Slick, Fuji, Bobby, Jimmy, etc in the Legends elite line.

I would pass on Albano and Blassie because the ones that Mattel put out are good enough for me. I'd actually consider them some of the best wrestling figures in my collection.
Everyone else would be a purchase from me though.

The ones I could see them doing, due to potential availability and name value, would be Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart. I really want them both in my collection and always passed on prior releases due to their scale, along with the weasel suit not being the 1 look I want to display for The Brain. They would likely need anchors though to even be considered for release. So maybe Heenan with Andre and Jimmy Hart with Honky? Liz with Macho works too. But I do agree with what others have said. The managers really don’t need Ultimate articulation. Put them in a separate Managers wave, as Elite with CC style packaging, charge $25 each, and hopefully they sell well. I’d buy them all for sure!

Lovely idea, but to complete your "...", unfortunately they would likely sit on Matty C a lot longer than the wrestler sets. Managers are way more niche than are wrestlers. Would have to pair one with a wrestler.

Given how niche this line already seems to be, I’m honestly doubting we ever see any non-wrestlers in this line. |

I just want all the managers from that era. Mattel has done a pretty good job, especially with the recent release of capt Lou. Blassie is already pretty much perfect, Heenan could use a redo. Jimmy Hart is great as well.
The biggest manager gap is definitely Mr. Fuji, so a Fuji/Muraco pack would be awesome.
A Heenan/Orndorff pack would be awesome as well.
I’d like a Johnny V to go with the Dream Team, but I’d much rather a coliseum collection Dream Team, than just one of them with Johnny V.
Adonis & Jimmy Hart pack would be great.

I’ve been advocating for an elite version of this line for a while. Not everyone that had an LJN really needs to be an UE. Plus would probably sell a lot better at around a $50 price point than $70.

I would imagine that a higher percentage than normal keep these MOC making all that extra articulation and accessories useless for so many people who collect this line. |
