Looking at the pics I posted, I have to say that I like the Superstars version a hundred times more than the Ultimate custom I made. That niche gear is fun on the Superstars figure, but quite bland on the Elite it came with. (I’m surprised no one ever mentioned how big that shirt is compared to all the other Hogan shirts.) As for my “Just left AWA/Just arrived in WWE Dec 1983/Jan 1984” custom Ultimate Hulk, I like that a lot. I have a soft spot for that time period. I would like a black “AMERICAN MADE” shirt for that figure, similar to the red one that came with the Then/Now/Whenever/Whatever 4-pack. Or another similar old fashioned “made at a shopping mall” t-shirt to use for it. Meanwhile, mini Ichi Brown is with my other Superstars, and he looks great, while Big Ichi is at the back of the display where he belongs, and black trunks Hulkster is toward the front and center, between a couple of the Hulks on cycles. Me too. That's when I started watching wrestling. I go back before that, to watching in the mid to late 70s as a kid, but when Hulk came on the scene, along with all that followed, everyone went crazy! So much fun back then.

You know if someone in the US could sort out decent shipping, heaps of us overseas would happily be buying these unwanted Legends that don't get released to our countries.
I paid AU$55 to get this Hogan from Amazon. And that's the cheapest its been. And its hit and miss what we can get through Amazon.
Having said all that, Mattel are the worst with distribution. WWE figures move FAST here in Australia and we don't even get complete waves of main line Elites (and often miss a lot of Elite waves anyway). Bayley and Chelsea Green and Terry Gordy were all not part of our assortment.
We do seem to get the world's supply of Main Event Gunthers. Our stores never discount WWE figs though, so they'll be around forever.

Our stores never discount WWE figs though, so they'll be around forever. I've actually thought about that too with as many Legends figures get discounted. When the first couple waves of the brought-back legends figures stalled, Ringside had a go at them. And that's where I scored my first ones from the series. A lot of them can be bought on the target website, but not all of them. But really, for as much of the Legends line ends up on clearance, I do feel for overseas collectors who would give anything to be able to buy even the most "unwanted" legends figures for 10 dollars a piece. I wish there was some way to fix this. The demand exists for these "unloved" characters just... not here. And the people who do want them, can't get them.

It's a very well-executed figure of a big-name talent... with what I'd have to say is about as much mass market appeal as The Goon figure which, no seriously, how did we ever get that and I really need to pick up another ASAP on secondary.
