When it comes to the red and yellow I'm not the one to say I told you so but I told you so!! I honestly think one of the main problems with the recent Target Legend Hogan's is that the average person doesn't see the red and yellow passing by the toy section so they don't even know it's a Hulk Hogan figure.

I don't even know why Mattel MAKES Hogans that aren't yellow & red - I won't buy them.
Rumor has it There was a Monday Night Wars red & yellow Hogan but nobody ever saw it because it sold out so fast. The reason you haven't seen it on Ebay is because nobody is willing to part with it.
I'm hoping SDCC has a whole display of upcoming Red & Yellow Hogans..... Pastamania Hogan..... 88 Hogan, 89 Hogan, 90 Hogan, 91 Hogan, 92 Hogan, 93 Hogan, 94 Hogan, 95 WCW Hogan...... 2002 WWE Hogan....

In the daylight, the most visible color is a wavelength of 550nm; a color between green and yellow. Our eyes catch red, orange, and yellow the fastest.
When walking by an aisle, people don’t see “Hulk Hogan” or any text first. They see color. Two of the top three most popular colors to market a product with are, or course, red and yellow. Do you think the Hulkster picked these by mistake?

As a Hogan mark myself, doesn’t matter which outfits he’s in. If they over order he’s gonna sit. Just like any other character. My local Walmart only received 2 Baron Corbin, 3 Scarlett, and 1 Sonya Deville figures about a year ago, and the Scarlett figures, Deville and one Corbin are still hanging there. On the other hand, my store received 6 Ultimate Hollywood figures about 4 weeks ago, and all 6 have been gone for about 2 weeks. So there's that. |
