Basically, ever since i've got into TNA i've been trying to figure out what's said at the start of Rave's music. Something about David Copperfield and i think it's spoken by Johnny Depp.
Any ideas?

I haven't seen any Rave in TNA, but in his last run with ROH, the quote in his theme music is "Shall we begin like David Copperfield? I am born, I grow up? or shall we begin, when I was born to darkness?"
It's from the 1994 film addaption of the '70s novel "Interview With The Vampire". I haven't seen the film, but the lead actors in the film are Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Depp is not in it. I have been told by a friend that it's a good film though.

The theme he used in ROH was "The House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals, with that line opening up the song. I dont know (because I didnt see it) but I doubt he used the same song at the PPV. Perhaps the same intro, but probably not the song. |

Nah he didn't use it in TNA.
Oh yeah, so Brad Pitt says it? Cool stuff. I just think it's a cool little intro "Shall we begin like David Copperfield?"

He is recounting the moment he became embraced to Christian Slater's character.....the reporter. Whats funny is that in Anne Rice's original telling of the book.....Louis is wuss who fears and trembles. He is nothing more than Lestat's lackey. I really hated how they fell short of that in the movie and made him out to the knowing and powerful. I did however, enjoy Queen of the Damned for sheer entertainment purposes.......not the way it had fallen from the book. I also liked Stuart Townsend's version of Lestat. |
