Glad they figured out how to release WCW debut Warrior but I am desperately hoping that this still finds its way to the MNW line or possibly Legends or somewhere, anywhere.  |

Glad they figured out how to release WCW debut Warrior but I am desperately hoping that this still finds its way to the MNW line or possibly Legends or somewhere, anywhere. If there's a warrior figure to be made rest assured Mattel will make it. I could definitely see them reusing some older warrior molds and the standard baseball cap mold and doing it in the wave after next or so |

The Wild Samoans got on a diet. I thought the same thing, but you could think of it as their early 70s look when they first grew their hair out and hadnβt gotten full sized yet. |

The Wild Samoans got on a diet. I'm curious to see how the figures are packaged. I wonder if, despite the way they're shown shown here, the older skinny Roman Coronation versions are the primary look while the wrestling versions are the "added value bonus" look. |

I think the new bodies for the Samoans look fine. The Samoans were a little chunkier than the Headshrinkers - but these bodies match up much better than the Umaga ones used last time.   |

I think the new bodies for the Samoans look fine. The Samoans were a little chunkier than the Headshrinkers - but these bodies match up much better than the Umaga ones used last time. Yeah, honestly, if they wanted to do it right, they would have made a new torso that was between the two. But I firmly believe they went this route as a cost saving measure due to the volume of cloth goods in this pack. Using the second largest (or so) largest torso that Mattel has going for them, I'm gonna have to say the production costs of the cloth goods here would have jumped enough that they weren't willing to make the sacrifice. None of the Umagas, or the original Wild Samoans, had cloth goods. They used heavy plastic for the wraps. This time, they gave us cloth wraps like the Headshrinkers. All about money, most likely. It's plenty good enough for me, frankly, and if nothing else, I will happily display them in their older looks and keep my custom Umaga body Samoans on the shelf as well. |
