The 22.99 price could be due to market research. They likely realized ultimates sell better when they are on sale, more sales now rather than clearance out later, so maybe they adjusted to a permanent price? Either way it's awesome!

I have thought about that as well, but I would also think that the research would show the same for Legends Elites, that they'd also price them lower. But oh well, I am not complaining. *And Yokos sure didn't have trouble moving at 32.99, HAHA!!! |

Re-reading it, maybe they just chose their wording poorly. Sounds like possibly they were gonna buy both figs and just use Goldberg’s plastic bubble for Vader and was curious if he’d fit.

I think he just meant that he wants to display his Vader in the Goldberg bubble so that he can have both titles on display with him. I don't think he meant figure swapping in the criminal sense.

I completely erased this from my memory, and did a quick Wikipedia check before I posted & didn't scroll down far enough. My apologies to Vader & anyone else I offended, he was in fact the United States Champion. I do not remember this. I still think the proposed figure swap is strange though. |
