I'm going to give it a solid C.
Pros
The Steiner Brothers look MARVELOUS!!! Can't wait to see the front Mint On Card!! The Amazon Ultimate Warrior/Papa Shango set looks incredible, I never thought I wanted that to be upgraded to Ultimate but Mattel did a fantastic job with it. Ultimate Hulk Still Rules is PERFECT!! I love the Lex Luger Ultimate
Cons
Where in the blue hell is Big Poppa Pump!!?? MNW War Line Series 6 is one of the worst series in any line Mattel has ever done. British Bulldog, Kane and dollar tree Sandman all in one series??? YUCK Still no 1991 Hulk Hogan or Python Power Hulk Hogan?? Why??? Royal Rumble Hulk Hogan is going to be hid behind a banner Mint on Card?? Why not throw a red bandana and WWE Winged Eagle Title around his waist and sell out all of em? No new Pipers??

I was very happy with this years. We're finally getting Booker T as a WCW singles with a chase. Kurt Angle 2006 Cody Rhodes 2023 Royal Rumble Couple more Yokozunas CM Punks are coming out like hot cakes, especially a UE from 2011 Survivor Series. Happy to see Brian Pillman as a Hollywood Blondes. Getting a couple of Rick Rude WCW figures. Very Awesome. Great Mutas are coming out soon. Bron Breakker figure looks very badass. Happy to see British Bulldog when he became heel. Lex Luger in UE.
My only negatives was no Shawn Michaels from 1995-96. And still No Macho Man. Other then that, it was a great Comic Con this year.

I think this is my 10th Sdcc that I’ve paid attention to. I would say this was maybe the second or third best showing from Mattel imo

C.
One of the ones I was most hyped for as I find myself buying less stuff lately and really I want about 4 things from it. Several of which I’ll have to buy other stuff to obtain.
For the record some of the stuff I loved was Golga, Justin Hawk, Billy Gunn, Fatu and the ultimate Shango.

Overall it was a pretty strong con for me. Wrestling machine Kurt, Evolution three pack, a couple of Brets, Curt Hennig, all the Punks, warrior/Papa Shango, Ultimate Solo, Jacob Fatu 👍
The lack of a Bayley ultimate was frustrating and the Rhea/ring situation is maddening. Other than that, no huge disappointments for me. B+

Gave it a C. Maybe a B-. Nothing blew me away. There’s way too much focus on re-releases. Some make sense like SES Punk others don’t like WMX8 Hogan. Think figure of the show for me was the grudge match Warrior and even that wasn’t a top 10 Warrior that I wanted.

Solid B for me. I’m very happy with the Coliseum Collection reveal, and that it’s simply continuing. I’m a picky collector these days, but was hoping for at least one new Legend reveal, like Macho or Haku. Without that, B is the top I can give for Mattel.
… I will add that I am extremely happy with Big Rubber Guys and their 2025 pipeline reveals. They get an A+!

Solid B
+ Muta, Warrior/Shango, Hogan/Mean Gene basic 2-pack (not everyone'scup of tea but I dig it), legends Rude and Sid look amazing (will not be getting them tho)
- CC Bigelow feels less special seeing another Bigelow shown as well...and feels like that gray attire Bigelow was first released not that long ago either. And in general, didn't care for all the rereleases, lack of FTITL, lack of golden era and Superstars line still being Walmart exclusive.

Easily a B+,maybe A if we would've gotten a Judgment Day MC pack(like the LWO),Tiff's scan was better or I didn't have to buy a ring to get Rhea

Think figure of the show for me was the grudge match Warrior and even that wasn’t a top 10 Warrior that I wanted. Yes, I feel like half of what was shown was a re-release. And some not even a part of their “greatest hits” line, i.e. Bret, Sid, and the numerous MNW ones. And the $150 Rhea doesn’t help. As others said, the unique legends were cool - Golga, JHB, Fatu and Billy Gunn. Just need to find someone that looks like Bart now.

I give it a B+ to an A-. Some really good stuff shown. Favorites for me would have to be the WCW Rick Rude, the Warrior/Shango 2-pack, UE Luger, WM9 & WM4 Bret Hart's, CC Bam Bam & Big Boss Man, the Superstars line continuing and the Muta's looked great. Booker T from his TV title days, both look great. Some nice deep cuts with Smoking Gunns Billy Gunn, Justin Hawk Bradshaw, Golga, NWO Dusty, etc. Brian Pillman getting more figures is great too. Them putting out the Hollywood Blondes look first is a great choice. I imagine the Bengal-print tights and loose cannon figures will get re-released or updated. I'm guessing a 4 horsemen figure would be doable, too.

I was fairly disappointed honestly. I can't complain too much because the exclusive was a figure I wanted for a long time and I got the Steiners before the con, but minus Muta which we already knew about the only thing that really got me excited was the new big gold mold. There were some nice figures I'll definitely be grabbing a Rick Rude or two and the updated Hollywood Blonds Pillman but there wasn't anything that blew me away or knocked anything off my wishlist
