WWE: SIMON DEAN TO SCOUT TALENT AT UPCOMING PRO WRESTLING NOAH/WLW TRAINING CAMP by Phil Lowe 17 May 2007, 11:58 am Harley Race’s World League Wrestling promotion today issued the following press release: 2007 WLW/ Pro Wrestling NOAH Training Camp The 2007 World League Wrestling/ Pro Wrestling NOAH Training Camp is set for September 17th-22nd at the Eldon Community Center in Eldon, Missouri. This camp is open to all professional wrestlers, men and women, as well as anybody with no experience. Scouts from Pro Wrestling NOAH as well as World Wrestling Entertainment will be on hand scouting talent. Takeshi Morishima, Naomichi Marufuji, part owner Ryu Nakata, and other NOAH wrestlers, to be named later will be the representatives from Pro Wrestling NOAH. Simon Dean will be at that camp representing WWE the 18th-22nd. Harley Race will also be scouting for World League Wrestling. This is a once in a life time opportunity for anybody who wants to elevate their careers as professional wrestlers. At last years camp, Keith Walker and Robert Anthony received developmental deals from the WWE. Also Ted Dibiase, Mike Dibiase, Daniel Cross, and Joe “Thoruf” Rudd were selected for training at the NOAH dojo as well as wrestling on tour for NOAH in Japan. In the eight years that Harley Race’s WLW and the four years that this camp has been in existence, seven men have received WWE developmental deals and over a dozen have been selected for tours for Pro Wrestling NOAH. This five-day camp begins with registration on Monday, the 17th. Also there will be two shows to conclude the camp on Friday, the 21st and Saturday, the 22nd. Both shows will attended by NOAH scouts and Simon Dean from WWE. Any experienced wrestlers, wanting to be considered for the events need to get a Missouri Wrestling License before the camp begins. This will entail a current physical, HIV, and Hepatitis blood tests. Appropriate forms may be obtained by contacting Meshell Rice at the State of Missouri Office of Athletics at 573-751-0243 or by faxing at 573-751-5649. Cost for the camp will be $500. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot. WLW has increased the maximum number of camp attendees from 50 to 60. Availability is limited so early registration is suggested.
