Britt Baker Suspended Following Backstage Comments
As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the former Women’s Champion allegedly made comments about American Champion MJF and his girlfriend Alicia Atout on July 17th, which was heard by Atout and saw MJF confront Baker over the comments:
Britt Baker was suspended for either one or two weeks and fined by the company’s disciplinary committee. Details have been kept pretty quiet. It came from something backstage at the 7/17 Dynamite where Baker allegedly said something about MJF and Alicia Atout, MJF’s girlfriend heard it and told him and he confronted Baker. This led to an investigation with HR talking to people on 7/24 and I believe the disciplinary committee that did the investigation recommended that.
I don’t know if Tony Khan was or wasn’t involved in this and everyone was attempting to keep this under wraps. This all stems from problems in the past that weren’t addressed and a committee was put together to settle these things quickly. Most of those we heard from were sympathetic to her in this situation.

That is how this bunch has been taught and encouraged to work out issues in the past...

There have been a lot of rumors about Britt the last few weeks and how she has handled herself since returning. And then there is the whole Christian stuff which is all just rumors right now.

Hopefully this leads her to WWE also I think she'd fit better in that presentation and they'd probably really put the machine behind the DMD thing.. that said, idk if she has any interest in going and vice versa. I'd say WWE at least would be interested |

What did Christian do? Someone leaked that supposedly her and Christian have been having an affair for quite some time, with some evidence. But like she or he didn’t come out and say anything officially (why would they) but basically a lot of Britt baker stories have leaked within the last month, stories about her and her attitude towards Saraya, ensuring the outcasts didn’t get over etc. |

She has had a reputation for being rude and difficult to work with at times.
Rumors her and Adam Cole split.
See ya. This division has soared right past her while she has been out and she was hardly missed. I think she has been overhyped as a wrestler and her match with Thunder Rosa has been doing too much heavy lifting for her track record in the company. I wouldn't mind seeing her leave at all.

So, all the cut throat things he says about guys in front of the camera to the world is okay because he's in character, but something said backstage about him is upsetting? I remember him going on about how Adam Cole had the body of a 12 year old vegetarian and Cole replied with something like, "let's both go piss in a cup and see whose test comes back clean." I thought THAT was was tip toeing the line, especially since it was said on television. Now I'd love to know what was said in private that got Max so worked up?
Also, Britt was home injured for a year. Unless Christian was flying around the country to hook up with her, I call BS on that. Christian may be a 7 or 8 out of 10 on the looks scale, but his wallet makes him a 10. If he was looking for a side piece he could go about getting it a hell of a lot easier and done a HELL OF A LOT BETTER than Britt. That a lot of work some some mid card ass.

But, par for the course, they've both been pretty big diva's why would I expect any less out of either of them.
