It would shelf warm. It's nothing special ring attire that warrants Ultimate Edition treatment. Could easily be released as an Elite.
Off subject - what a buzz kill to have that match on third from last. I switched off completely after that match.

He wore a more stylish attire at Wrestlemania 39 and they still havent made a figure of that in either Basic, Elite or Ultimate.

From last night we need Ultimates of Cody, Drew, Punk and Breakker. Maybe not UEs, but both Liv and Rhea has sick gear as well! And their gears meshed real well together! Logan also had sweet gear. |

If you didn't see it, then I'll describe it to you. It was black with a green dragon scales tone added. The gauntlets were green and the back of his jacket had a green dragon's head. His trunks had the green argyle color along with the dragon's head on the back. Also, with his spike in popularity right now, that figure would sell like hotcakes.

The moment I saw Drew come out in that gear...I said "there's an action figure"....problem with it being an Ultimate is:
No doubt, NO DOUBT Mattel already has a Drew Ultimate in the pipeline (planned, slotted, rendered) and probably in the next set of Ultimate reveals.
Clearly WWE/Mattel have been checking off a lot of current Superstars in the Ultimate line lately...so that's a dead giveaway that they MOST DEFINITELY have an Ultimate planned for perhaps THE BEST overall performer in the company right now not named Roman Reigns.
This attire with be an Elite. But the Ultimate is already too late in the planning stages to shift it to this brand new attire.

The Major Pod guys just did a video about every Hawkins and Ryder figure that had been made, and during the episode Cardona spoke about how any development of figures of his was frozen 6 months before his contract expired because he hadn’t re-signed yet. Obviously in his case it didn’t end up mattering, but in the case of Drew it might explain why Mattel is so far behind on him. |
