They should re-release Ultimate KO as an Elite so we can get that attire on a body that doesn’t make KO look like Sami’s little brother. I’d also like Rollins’ first UE (the black tights/colored stripes MITB 2022 attire) as an Elite, but I doubt they’d do that. Dude they couldn't even release the basic in a proper color scheme, they will never give us this. True, but I’d rather have a KO with slightly inaccurate colors and correct height than skinny arms, little brother KO.

I typically like the Ultimates. I am not a fan on the drop down hips, so I just don't use em. But I like the ab crunch much more than on Elites, and I like getting alternate heads to mix up my display periodically.

I am very particular with Ultimates that aren't guys in elaborate entrance gear. I think some figures necessitate being Ultimates due to deco or essential accessories, Elites won't cut it, but some feel more like a collector tax. nWo Bischoff was strategically used to sell the Nitro ring, but it could've been a $12 Main Event figure and sufficed. I don't need hyper articulation nor all these heads and hands and a cloth white sleeveless tee that I'll never display him with. Luger? Looks great, but it could've been a perfectly fine Main Event or an Elite with that new WCW big gold. What they should've done was swap Luger as the Elite in MNW4 with jeans DDP as the Ultimate with the accessories that make him Ultimate-worthy (vest, shirt, ab tape, bonus scowling head, US title), but I digress.
It reminds me of the new Jakks Simpsons figures vs the Super 7 ones. $5 for a decent 2.5" figure is insane, and the deep cut characters is why I collect their 2.5" classic Mario and Sonic figures. Cartoony figures shrink down perfectly well at this scale; I wouldn't want WWE figures like this, mind you. Their 5" figures are also very economically priced. The fact that I can go to Walmart and drop a little over $10 to get a Metroid or Altered Beast toy that looks solid is incredible. Super 7? Better quality in many cases, nicer box, a little bigger, but they come with superfluous accessories and more pairs of hands than necessary, are usually overly articulated, and all the bells and whistles drive the cost up to be $40-60. I don't care about the difference between an A+ and an A- if the price difference is a $30-$40 gap. I'd rather take the A- and reinvest those savings elsewhere in the line.
But, we're all different and display our collections in different ways. Some people really appreciate the 'extra' aspect of these, and I can respect that.

No. It should be the other way around.

But, we're all different and display our collections in different ways. Some people really appreciate the 'extra' aspect of these, and I can respect that. THIS Like, some of the ultimates really just feel like they went with, as you said, a collector's tax. In my mind, the 3-Belt Defining Moments SCSA was more impressive than the UE because at the end of the day, he doesn't come with a jorts option, so the added cloth goods shirt doesn't look right anyway, and the DM comes with the massively-in-need-of-a-remake Smoking Skull belt. I'd rather they have put that UE figure as a really good MAIN LINE ELITE, because god knows they seem alergic to putting Stone Cold in wrestling attire in the main elite line. I'm with you above that the entire point of the Bischoff UE was because it sold yet another ring most people didn't want, hence why it exists, and while it could have been a 12 dollar Main Event figure, why would they? Putting highly sought after First time UE figures behind a massive, ring-sized paywall will never stop now that they've learned that's how to make money. They did it with Bischoff, they're doing it with Rhea, and I fully expect someday they will make a UE Paul Heyman and stick him behind an ECW ring. Mattel and WWE are corporations, they're gonna corporation. Simple as that. They released what amounts to the same Roman twice as an UE (Minus minor, but not *enough* changes), then released the second one AGAIN as an Elite with the gold belt, I'm pretty sure it's also a Main Event figure as well, and at the end of the day, WE STILL NEVER GOT ONE IN THE SHIRT. I do support the Elite rerelease, but especially with them already rereleasing the Heyman with the two belts, they really *really* should have given us the shirt instead. Money on the mind, even more people would have bought that Heyman figure if it was the only easy way to get the belts, and then Roman could have had HIS selling point being finally getting the We The Ones t-shirt. Just an aside: The first Charlotte Elite had a robe, the next Charlotte in a robe was her UE. We've never gotten another robed Charlotte since. Kind of hurts, frankly. Really the UE line has been very inconsistant. I love the figures, don't get me wrong, and some of them like Fan Takeover Seth look to be god-tier. But with production issues like UE 21, distribution issues like the MNW line, poor parts choices like UE Angle and the first Eddie, and all the other mess ups they've done along the way, this line seems to be having way more growing pains then you would think it would at this long into the run.

Yes. I'd love that new Batista in the blue gear - but I hate how it looks. Same with Gunther.

Yes. I don’t like Ultimates. Especially since the drop down hips. I try to avoid them now. If they stopped the drop down hips, I would buy them again.

I don't care for ultimates, elites are better. I'd rather pay more for more detailed/painted accessories instead of just a mold color...

Yes but not in the same calendar year. Release the elite the following year. (Or vice versa if the Elite was first)

I'd like to see an elite Doink and Diesel like from the ring. It's been a couple years, and that was each of their main looks.
Also I'd buy a Papa Shango elite, but not a $75 Ultimate set with yet another Warrior.

Also I'd buy a Papa Shango elite, but not a $75 Ultimate set with yet another Warrior. This is how I’ve felt about them for a little bit, I’d rather have them as ultimates than nothing at all but there’s been plenty of figures that didn’t need to happen in ultimate form
