Just got the Nitro Ultimate Ring (seriously impressed!)
I'm looking to take off the red turnbuckles and swap the ropes for a set I bought on eBay. Without going too crazy to break it, I thought I'd ask here if anyone's removed them and knows how to do it?
I think I need to pry the gold bar out of the material but don't want to break this 30 minute old ring lol. Any tips greatly appreciated!!

I did it on my New Gen ring to swap out with the Jakks RSR. I remember it being a pain but nothing broke. Can’t remember what the trick was.

I ask as I have a pull in one of the ropes on my Nitro ring so ideally would like to change the ropes.

I thought you just pulled the turnbuckle fabric holes over the gold buttons because that’s how the turnbuckles from the 2011 Mattel Elite Scale Ring and the Wicked Cool Toys Authentic Scale Ring work.

Yeah, it’s similar. Those were plastic & much easier to remove though. This is a single gold bar poked through top/bottom holes. Just needs to be carefully pried out. Pretty tough to do, but definitely doable.

Yes, sorry - I didn’t explain that well enough. The gold bar is one piece, you just have to carefully pull it out of the fabric.
