So Warrior showed up for a WWE 2K14 promo in face paint and ran through Titan Towers. It was pretty electric because I think it was first sign he was back in good graces with WWE. Would you be interested in this figure if it was made?  |

They made it as an exclusive figure for warrior. I think 5 we’re made but some sneaky devil in the factory made more and they made their way onto the secondary market without the jacket. I think it’s safe to say this will never get a rerelease as it was part of his contract to get those figures made exclusive

Be nice if this and the other extremely limited ones showed up in the Vault or GH lines but I doubt Mattel will ever reproduce it.  |

These are the figures that we need in the Vault line since none of us have them and many of us would like them over something that was widely released that many of already have that may be worth a little bit.

I wouldn't get it but isn't the whole purpose of the "greatest hits" line to make them more accessible while devaluing the original releases?

I would assume these exclusives are off limits due to the fact they were produced in such limited qualities for Warrior himself. They were meant to have a price point much higher than a regular release. There is probably some language in whatever contract with Warrior that would prohibit his exclusives to be made again by Mattel. Steve did say, however, that the Jakks exclusive Warriors are fair game. We’re already seeing the WCW debut in the Monday Night Wars line.

Eh, an attire that he wore..... in a commercial?
I guess I'm pretty satisfied with the elder-Warrior Legends figure that we got, since it represents an actual special "moment" on RAW (in an arena) that we got. That's what drives me to buy most of these figures.... they capture a moment in time. Wrestling history. A snapshot of an amazing moment.
The attire looks pretty cool but since it's just from a commercial that he filmed, I can live without it.

Well, you've got me there, as I bought those figures too. Although I would argue that "No Holds Barred" was a bigger deal for Hogan/WWE than one WWE2K video video game commercial..... I mean, they hyped NHB on Primetime for months, and then turned it into a full-blown angle with Zeus, it sort of tied to Summerslame (Zeus/Macho vs. Hogan/Beefcake).... it had an impact on WWE..... Plus, No Holds Barred had an actual "match" Rip VS. Zeus at the end.... You got me on "Music Video Hogan" though, yeah it's pretty much the same thing as "Video Game Commercial" Ultimate Warrior.... |

Warriors exclusives seemed to come with a price.
When he did the usa exclusives, no one else made usa warriors. when he did wcw warriors... no one else made wcw warriors.
Mattel seemed to be smart enough to not let him take control of any actual wwf or wcw attires because most of his mattel exclusives were just weird new designs.
That said, im sure it was in contract that they couldnt release this attire again so it remained valuable. He would often sell his exclusives for $2000 - $4000 each

Best case scenario is Mattel releases a fig of the time he wore the duster in WCW and you could sort of make a fix up of it with the old man head from the legends figure

What I would like to see in the vault, is a re release of king Kong Bundy and legends rick martel...2 mattel legends I'm missing from my collection. And maybe Patterson and brisco, because I'm missing brisco
