Can you pull the hands on basics off and switch them? The reason I ask is I want to switch the hands on Maxxine to fist hands.

For the newer Basics starting in the series with the white cards, yes.

I don’t think you can with the newer elites with the replacable hands. You could with old elites by boiling the hands.

The newer basics with the ball joint hips have removable hands and heads just like the elites. The older basics with the T shaped crotch joints do not, unless you do the old boil & pop method.
