Not to mention it makes going to a RAW or Smackdown feel like a bigger deal if you attend. No PPVs coming to your city ever, but RAW is coming? Well GUNTHER defending the World title in the main event would make me want to go see it. As opposed to when weekly tv show main events would start 10 minutes before the show ends.

You know, it just occurred to me.
WWE putting PLE/PPV quality matches on their TV episodes... that's what made AEW so special when it first started. Now, AEW won't even put TV quality matches on their TV shows, they'll put them on the PPV's.
I wonder if Hunter saw what AEW was doing when it was thriving, thought "You know, there's something to this" and now is utilizing AEW's abandoned strategy against them.
