I been on the hunt recently picking up some figures I wanted.
Now that I have them, I just get the sense of,
"Okay, now what do I do?"
Don't get me wrong, it's cool to look at them and display them, I just envisioned getting a lot more enjoyment out of having these figures.
I really don't have any must have figures in mind at the moment I feel I have to have, and I dont want to get in the habit of just buying figures, to buy them. I feel like I have nothing to look forward to when it comes to WWE figs at the moment.
Is this figure collecting burnout?

I think that in many ventures in life, the chase is often better than the end goal when it’s accomplished
you probably just need to take a small break, refresh your interest, and then reevaluate.

Just my two cents but in any successful venture what do you hear?
"What's next?"
Just like with WWE setting records and HHH and Cody and Co are talking about "what's next"
Is it burnout? Or did you achieve your goal of finding what you were seeking. Now, what next?

Like with any goal accomplished, try and sit back and bask in the moment and reflect back on the journey rather than always thinking about the next thing. On the plus side you can give your wallet a reprieve of sorts too now that there isn't anything you feel like you need to have at the moment. Before too long, new releases and upcoming releases are going to catch your eye and the process will begin again. Try to enjoy the moment for now and the sense of accomplishment.

I've had that and its part of what made me stop collecting several years ago. I used to collect entire Elite series. Didn't matter if I had doubles, I wanted every figure from each Elite series displayed. I'd have the initial excitement of opening the six figures and displaying them but afterwards I didn't really care anymore until the next series was out. Rinse and repeat. It was like doing coke, there was a small high and then it was gone almost immediately after. The only time I'd revisit my collection in between series was to switch the titles to correspond with the real life champions.
Hopefully whoever has my figures now gets more enjoyment out of them than I did.

First one I’ve gotten since probably around 2015. I don’t have any interest in collecting again though. |

I think you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed. It's okay to take a break and enjoy what you have. Maybe try customizing or painting some figures to give them a unique touch. Also doing sports like betterme.world/articles/abs-and-butt-workout/ can help to avoid burnout |

I definitely agree with tadamori. Take a break to enjoy what you have. Perhaps ask yourself why you wanted these figures? What did you find exciting about them? Maybe a little figure photography would enrich your enjoyment of what you now have. Also, it's good to come to a community like this one, where collectors share what they enjoy (or find frustrating) about the hobby.
One of the biggest challenges of collecting wrestling figures is that you will eventually catch up to where you want to be. Whether that means you've got all the characters and their looks that interest you, or you just outrun the Mattel factory's ability to put out new product, eventually there'll be a break.
I'm not sure a lack of anything to look forward to is collector burnout. It just means there aren't any figures in the works that excite you. Perhaps you ought to see about one of the threads on the board where you can discuss what you'd like to see in the near future.

It definitely sounds like that. Since I decided to return to college, I’ve completely forgotten about all my hobbies, and I ended up feeling like a zombie, barely functioning on just a couple of hours of sleep each day. Between juggling classes, assignments, and everything else, I lost touch with the things I once enjoyed, and life started to feel like a never-ending grind. Thankfully, things are starting to improve a bit now that I found stateofwriting.com/. Their services have been a huge help, especially with managing my writing workload. Having that extra support has taken some pressure off, giving me a bit more balance. Still, life isn’t quite what I imagined when I decided to go back to school—I thought I’d be able to handle it all, but it's been a tough adjustment |

When you start buying figures for the accessories ... the Championship Title Belts ... and sell the figures.
