A little backstory. I haven’t watched wrestling other than WrestleMania here and there for about 20 years. Absolutely obsessed growing up and had a huge collection of Jakks, which I sold for pennies on the dollar at a yard sale. For some reason I would check periodically on RSC to see what was coming out, and around Christmas last year, I randomly purchased the Mankind, Bret and Shawn Defining Moments. From there, I told myself I was going to stick exclusively to the Legends line since that was the era I cared about, and keep them MOC. The urge to have a loose collection like I did as a kid got to me, and I started displaying by era, then tried to organize by whatever the big rivalry/faction/moment took place as that time. I stopped keeping track after a while at what I spent and am scared to add it all up, but I’m pretty happy with my collection, and it definitely scratched that nostalgia itch.

Thats incredible. Id highly recommend looking into the Coliseum Collection if you aren't already familiar with it and you're interested in getting more figures |

Very nice set up. If I were starting over, I’d probably have taken a similar path selection wise. Where’d you get the display case? Very nice.

Wow I was just about to buy a billy now I’m tempted with one of these. What lights and stands do you use? What are your collection goals and what years are you buying figures between? You’ve done very well my friend!

This is, without a doubt, my favorite collection display I've ever seen. Incredible job, man. Really classy.

And for the LightsHonestly my goals now and to pretty much lay low. Stick with the Legends and MNW. Bu I can’t fit too much else in my loose collection and my wife would kill me if I bought another display case haha. So pretty much stick with what I have other than a few here or there. In terms of years it’s pretty much from the Golden Era until about 2004. Basically the loose shelves are Golden Era, New Gen, and then 1997 shelf, 1998, 1999, 2000-2003ish, and WCW. I was 9 in 1997 and started watching right before WrestlmeMania 13. Obviously I feel very lucky I got into it at that time and got to see the Attitude Era as it was unfolding, and was absolutely obsessed. I stopped watching at some point in 2003 and haven’t really been into it since. I have a 3 year old who I gave some of my old Jakks figures I still had to, and he’s been enjoying them, so who knows, I may get into watching it again. |

I was doing pretty well at first trying to keep those Legends at a decent price point, but some of the older ones are crazy expensive. I certainly wished I had been collecting them when they were released originally |
