Just like every other town we have PCW. Lance Hoyt started here so did Rodney Mack and Jazz. And Sabu had a few matches here.

I care to drive to ROH, but 5 hours isn't really "near you", is it?
2CW; Squred Circle Wrestling. I've only been to one show, they've brought in 2 Cold, Joe, Sabin, Jerry Lynn, Fonzie, a few other notables.
Without sounding totally douche-like, If I was trained, and needed a place to be trained or wrestle, I'd probably show more interest.
But my sole show was I think the 1 year anniversary, meeting Joe for the first time, getting a pic with him, aswell as Fonzie and a auto from Fonz. Good sh*t.

FIP and a few of those little promotions that run with old washed up WWE guys and kinda sorta decent Indy guys.

Some thing called ECCW, I find it pretty entertaining even though its nothing big. Some good people that you would have never heard of and Danielson was in it recently and same with Richards.

There are a bunch that come to or are based out of CT. The ones I go to are ROH and NEW (Northeast Wrestling). NEW shows are great because they bring in big names from TNA and WWE and have an autograph session before the show. And the crowd can be really fun sometimes. For example there is a war between the people sitting front and second row and the people in bleachers who support Brian Anthony. The only downside is the World champion sucks.

The Australasian Wrestling Federation runs 20 minutes from my home sometimes but usually runs in Sydney, NSW.
It is the biggest promotion in Australia. It has a working agreement with Dragon Gate in Japan and runs shows featuring legends (Sabu and Raven are appearing next month)

Ahh it's aimed towards children thats why the gimmicks might of been bad for you since i'm guessing you're in your teens.

Well...
First Wrestling. Heavy on Wrestling.
I am pretty sure there are a few more down in Minneapolis, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
