Same. I may pick this one up for the true fx head and more rigid glasses to put on the original, and use this to make a custom or something. That is, if I can find it in Canada. As a Canadian, you and I know that isn't going to happen lol. How sad and true that is. |

So to get a perfect IRS I need the following...
-GH Legends IRS Head
-Elite 40 IRS Torso & Arms
-GH Legends Crotch
-BAF Mr. Perfect legs
So what Im saying is Mattel literally had ALL the parts needed to execute this.....and yet, didnt.

This reminds me the Rick Steiner elite we got was way out of scale too because they gave him the same body as Bron Breakker. He’s somehow taller than Warrior and a few other guys. I’m hoping Mattel gives us that ‘99 Rick as a ultimate with front singlet designs and molded biker shorts. The cheaply painted on biker shorts are a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Guys like RVD, Rick and Scott should have molded on shorts.

Most disappointing thing in the Mattel line are the woman. They look like midgets next to the men figures. Okay...not towards IRS i guess ;-)

I also wonder why his sleeve covers almost his entire upper arm in this version. IRS always had his sleeves fit tight around his arms with his biceps out and that was well represented in the original release. Absolutely. I was under the impression these re-releases were supposed to be improvements. The only thing improved here is the truefx headscan. The glasses arent at all accurate either. He wore gold-framed glasses, not frameless black ones. You were under the wrong impression. “Project Rerelease” is so Mattel and even Ringside can gut and therefore monopolise the second market for those figures that still command a high price. |
