I was kinda curious with the match and event with smackdown. Giving Solo that slot with Cody for the belt with Roman or Rock in the air… did make me think, if you’re going to hot tag the belt to him that was the moment. Didn’t need to be a long reign but it gets him on the board with big wins.
Didn’t do it, fine whatever, keep a rolling on with the same vibes then.
Does make me wonder the overall goal/plans for him.
He’s not a star star by any means but he’s around and there’s a huge vacuum of main event heels on smackdown with Roman switching sides and big Kev shrivelling up.
Obviously waiting for Rock but in the process they’re certainly building Solo up beyond what he was before, besides a weeknd cosplay, but they’re also keeping him from reaching the next level..
What’s everyone’s thoughts on Solo and his position, what the future might give us with him? Titles?

I'd give em the US Title then the WWE Title. He ain't ready for the main event scene yet

Solo ain't him. He needs a mid card title at best, but even still, we don't need a bunch of titles locked up in this never ending Bloodline stuff.

There was never any thought in putting the belt on Solo lmfao.. like many others have said, Solo ain’t him. It’s just a matter of time before he’s kicked out of the Bloodline 2.0 and he has to crawl back to Roman begging for forgiveness.

Solo is about as boring as it gets. This current Bloodline 2.0 is weak. Jacob Fatu is a clear bigger star than Solo.

To be clear I’d had no reason to think Cody would lose the belt but as a fan I wanted to watch the show,the only motivation I could muster was pretending there’s a chance of an upset/shenanigans however; just something to shake it up.
I don’t disagree with the bloodline stuff being problematic but it’s here for a whole while longer unfortunately.
And yes Jacob is spicier than Solo, sure but that to me doesn’t really matter when you’re looking at a show building stars on both sides of heel/face. You can have guys who aren’t ticking all the boxes in top spots.
And yes Solo is gonna get wholeheartedly wrecked by Roman, cool.
But like isn’t that an issue in itself, we’re just gonna have both Cody & Roman smashing BL2.0 comprehensively until Rock shows up… why watch, we already know what’s going to happen for the next 4 months.

The Steel Cage was his best match ever. I'm a fan of his work but you gotta give em some more time. He'd be a great US Champ before winning the WWE Title.

wwe should’ve brought Jacob Fatu in two years ago and polished him up instead of now. better late than never, but jeeze do they have a history of missing talent till the last minute

I think Solo is doing perfectly fine in his position. He’s the catalyst for the Roman babyface turn. People hate him and want to see Roman beat his ass. He’s doing it perfectly. Yes Jacob is better in the ring but this isn’t the first time a heel stable was lead by someone who wasn’t the best in the group.
I’d have Solo pin Roman at Bad Blood. They need him to have a solid win under his belt to keep this all going till Survivor Series.
