RSC announced on their social media and didn’t seem to create any buzz. I guess it would be cool to pair with Umaga or flush out your WWECW collection alongside Punk, Lashley, Hardy, that basic Dreamer, and whoever else they made (Ryder??, Morrison??). That said, any fig of him will be a pass for me personally.

Yeah, it's a new FTITL figure that is based on a legends-Throwback covered time AT THIS POINT...it was 18 years ago at this point, so it's pretty much "classic" or "Old School" at this point. Same with Victoria.

It was reported in the Upcoming Mattel Figure & lineup thread on Friday. It was briefly discussed and then people moved on.

I stand by my take that during THIS period WWE didn't do a great job of establishing future "Legends". Names like this are not remembered fondly like the Golden Era or the Attitude Era. Of course there will be some initial excitement when his "FTITL" is revealed but people haven't been asking for this like they have guys like Mr. Fuji, Slick, Heenan, etc.
My general criteria for a "Legend" on whether I want to add them to my collection: Can I recall at least one or two special "Big Moments" or Great Matches that this person participated in? What are they memorable for?
When I think about Armando Alejandro Estrada..... I'm coming up short.

And when they did try to use them they were very short lived. Armando didn’t stick around as Umaga’s manager for that long. Even Heyman was taken away from Brock by the end of year. Paul definitely wouldn’t be the wiseman he is today and highly regarded as one of the best if not Brock having enough stroke upon his return to demand to have him as his mouthpiece.

It's a first time figure, but not on everyones list like Koko B. Ware, Haku, Mr. Fuji, Hercules, Barbarian. He was the manager/mouthpiece for Umaga that's what he was known for

I think it's cool that WWE is seemingly getting as many folks as they can from yesteryear back under the WWE umbrella. New regime seems to be putting more emphasis on that.
I also find it interesting how often People complain about a lack of new names being signed yet when we get an announcement like this it's 'who cares?'

I'm all for anyone and everyone that can be a NEW addition to the line. Armando will make a great BAF for some PPV wave.

Doesn't interest me personally
I just want to see WWE approach/sign more WCW/NWO era names, particularly "first time" and "deep dive" names

Yeah, he will be fine for one figure, I don't even remember him in the WWECW, I only remember him as Umaga's manager.

I'd get him just to display alongside Umaga but we really only need one figure of him.

All for him and anyone else that hasn't made it into the line yet. He could certainly have a place in my collection. Hopefully they'll sign more guys/gals who are somewhat unexpected additions.

Great for him and the people who want him, but he's just long after my time, personally.

If they acutally make a good umaga figure to put it with. The two umaga's that release have terrible pose-ability. They may as well be statues.
