It's being reported that the Lucha Brothers have signed multi-year deal with WWE!
I'm so hyped. I've been wanting these guys in Elite form since Lucha Underground.
Which attire do you hope they wear in WWE that they've used, so Mattel can make figures of them?

Penta in that all black demonic looking stuff was awesome. Aew I think I remember made it (or at least I saw renders idk if it was released) but the jacket didn’t seem to be removable and it just looked off. That one from Mattel would be awesome

This is probably the biggest signing I’m most excited for in years. They are one of my favorite modern day tag teams. Give me every look possible.

Probably a question for the wrestling section but was trying to think of any Mexican/Lucha wrestlers that have been successful in WWF/E other than the Mysterios and Eddie. Tito? Was he Mexican? I know he was born in the US and billed from Mexico but not really sure what his heritage is.

As a AEW Stan & pro WWE hater it absolutely breaks my heart to see my fav tag team leave for wwe……………….however. Those figures? Yeah I’m obsessed with them lol. Jazwares are just super disappointing 9/10 and while the LB figures were always perfect I can’t imagine how beautiful those Mattel figures are gonna be
If I can get any attires I’d like Fenix’s Full Gear & Grandslam 22 attires both are unbelievably colorful
For Penta probably his Venom & Joker gear even tho they probably can’t be easy IP wise

And even tho he did achieve main event status, I don’t think he was ever really accepted as such by the fans. That said, he definitely counts. |

(Yes I know they did HLR once as a Kmart exclusive but that was b4 it was used by certain hate groups for some other meaning) |

I'll take any looks Mattel will do because their gear is always cool (especially Penta), but Penta's Joker look has to top my list. And probably Fenix in gold (it just fits him).
They never wear matching gear it seems, or at least not in the same match, so that should make it easier for Mattel haha

There WWE bound, but as of now they are not able to officially sign with WWE. When that happens Mattel will knock them out of the park.

Mike Johnson is reporting the Lucha Bros are still under AEW deals as of today, so they couldn’t have signed anywhere else.
There is an expectation that when their deals expire, they are WWE-bound but as of today, legally, they could not have signed with anyone else.
