So with both megastars on SD right now, it looks like this huge match has gotta take place...but when?
& do you guys wanna see this rematch? The best thing is that both guys will be babyfaces this time...it makes things even better.
Two megastars on the same brand, both as big time babyfaces...a very epic thing to have tbh. Throwback to Austin/Rock, Hogan/Warrior or Savage, Cena/Orton, Punk/Bryan etc.
I'd say a future WM main event would be huge money, a Trilogy right there.

I heard rumours that the Reigns vs. Cody III match is gonna happen at Saturday Night's Main Event in December. Not sure if that is gonna happen though, but it would be shades of Hogan vs. Andre in 1988 on The Main Event.

Would prefer Cody to lose the belt first. His reign is already stale and I don't want another Roman run with the belt.
The belt on the line would also make it too predictable.

Not going to happen anytime soon. WWE ist thinking in longer chapters nowadays, which is fantastic btw.
Cody and Roman teaming up will lead to Rock returning and turning on Roman joining the Temu Bloodline. Maybe around Survivor Series or whatever. This will lead to Roman vs Rock for WMXLI (on a side note Cody vs Brock would be a fantastic co main event).
I expect them to save Roman vs Cody III for later to have the long build up it deserves, so WMXLII seems to be the logical choice.
Cody should lose the title after a long reign. This title isn’t ment to switch every year. Also a later loss would give him the opportunity for a heel turn (if desired).

Shorter reigns keep the product fresh and make matches less predictable. Nothing worse than watching a title match and knowing that their is a 90% chance the champ is retaining. |
