this all could be solved if they are re-releases..and/or.. Mattel doesnt offer something like this kinda series as an exclusive to a store that has failed many times now, that many people would like to have and simply cant get. The ghostbsters type of TMNT crossover lines belong at Walmart.. Target/Amazon with a proven track record now should be getting RA, MNW, Legends...etc. π― |

The only real solution to the Walmart problem that I see is to also offer Walmart exclusives to ringside. Which I donβt think is ever gonna happen
Target has it figured out, they do such a good job with this stuff now. I donβt know how, but despite being a bigger company with more resources Walmart doesnβt get it and I donβt envision it ever changing

Pushed my preorder again. Chatted with CS. Said that I am apart of an online community of toy collectors. I see plenty of people finding thse in-stores and they are being sold at a 100% markup by third parties online. Its a Walmart exclusive item and its beyond frustrating that Walmart continues to ignore customers who preordered these items months and months in advance while they continue to ship them out. I understand they work for Walmart but the generic "this is a delay in your preorder" answer is flat out incorrect and I've been dealing with this for years with Walmart. I then requested a gift card for the amount difference for what I preordered the item for ($32.84) and the cheapest third-party seller through Walmart ($68.99) so I can order the item and have the order actually fulfilled, since I can't count on Walmart itself to stock their exclusive items correctly. The CS agent issued me the difference! I got a gift card + promo code for almost $40 in credit to order from one of the other sellers on Walmart for almost $70. After all discounts, I paid just a few dollars over retail and it'll arrive this week. Guys, I've tried this in the past and failed. I am not telling you it'll work. But its worth a try. You never know who you will get and how you can politely guide them to getting what you want. When my UE RVD/Eddie were continuously pushed back, I chatted with CS each time and I would get $10, $15 promo codes multiple times as a "make good" that I just used for other purchases while I kept my preorder ordered. I do not care that Walmart gave me $40 to make the issue right. Its the only way I could guarantee this figure would arrive at all. Its been pushed 4 times and 7 months from the order date. Honestly not a bad idea. This is literally UNPRECEDENTED. I cant think of any other item on the entire internet you can preorder 6 months in advance, the company can then hold your money while they gladly distribute these items all over the west coast of the united states it seems and then tell you they have none for your PREORDER. Again PREORDER you know.....the people who are supposed to get it first. Now they have none to give to the people who preordered the item because theyve already distributed them to a half our quarter of the country. Meanwhile holding on to your money all the while....im probably going to call them today as well. |

I've had both pre-ordered since September and I noticed today that the Mankind is preparing for shipment so it seems like they actually might be fulfilling these orders.

Debating if I wanna cancel since I found in store already and just continue to wait to see if it does get fulfilled and then return it to the store. |

I seen an Eddie, 2 Mankind's and an AE HHH UE at a Walmart last night for the first time (one I dont really visit often bc it's out of the way from my commute) but there was a younger kid in there with his mother and she was offering to get one and lay-o-way the other. I didn't have the heart to rush a younger fan in his decision making process or reach for the one he set down first so I was just left with the 2 Mankinds. So they're definitely out there, I think it's a restocking issue more than anything. Most (not all) employees (I know from my younger years of working at Walmart during my first job) will go in the back do a quick look around, if at all, or get on their phone and then come out and tell you they don't have it or didn't see it. That's Walmart for you though.
Also I passed on Mankind bc for the first time ever, I wasnt a fan of the cloth goods shirt over the rubber one. Idk why but it seemed unnatural. Maybe it was bc of the tie, but I'd rather get the basic from the Kane battle pack or an elite with a rubber shirt and fixed in place tie.
EDIT: I hate that I can see both Harlem Heat elites on their website at stores near me but none are available to ship, just in store. Which I know they're not out on pegs bc I've been to those stores.

If you kept the receipt for the two bought in store, can you just return the two from the online order with the in store receipt? Or do they check some number to make sure that cant happen? |
