Holy smokes, we need a Nikita Koloff retro figure!! In one of their previous posts they announce that one of the 5 figures will be a high flying superstar. Someone guessed Snuka, and they replied that this person has the same hair color. Let the rampant speculation begin! I’d rather Nikita be in the BRG line at some point along with uncle Ivan …as for the high flying superstar, I woulda guessed Flyin Brian except he didn’t exactly have the same hair color as Snuka Nah, the BRGs aren’t my cuppa tea. The Hasbro style are my jam. But, no reason why he couldn’t appear in both form factors.

Looks like David Schultz in the far left? We will be having Title Run Toys on the show in a few weeks, will put a Q and A in here for you lot who are/were Title Run Toys then? are they a completely new entrant to the game, or an existing startup going through a rebrand?

They were top rope toys before, AI generated instagram page so far if/when you get them on, please reiterate that the community are beyond bored with concept art and preorders
if they're interested in entering a pretty established market, as a new face in the mix, then they're gonna have to come out of the gate with stock in hand ready to ship, and of a quality that meets the levels now being set by the market
I doubt many will entertain the preorder grift for another new and unproven company at this point

Bro, that’s never gonna happen well, they're gonna struggle to gain traction in a market where all they've produced so far is AI art, and not even much of that.
why would anyone take a chance on another newcomer and risk getting burned Rush-style??
if 3POA have them on soon, let's see if the guys can challenge them and hold them to account on both their plans, and their timeframes? after all, people have waited literally for over a year for some preorders. and still didn't receive figures that matched the artwork they paid against.
so why would anyone sensible with their money take another risk on an unknown/unproven entity? much easier to come out of the gate by producing the figures first, and just launch with "HEY! We're here, these are here, buy them today and get them tomorrow!" type approach, and build confidence right from the off.
it's what literally EVERY business has to do when they start out

I have more reasons to believe they are legit. Apparently they are real, English speaking people. From what I am told, they come across as organized and business-oriented with actual experience and connections. They are currently in production and production/prototype photos do exist. Take it all with a grain of salt - final judgement should be reserved for when products are in hand. That information does give me a bit more confidence to at least enjoy the ride.

They’ve already confirmed series 1 is pre order. To answer your question about why anyone would chance it, firstly because only one company so far has burned anyone. That would be rush, simply because the quality was poor. Everyone else has delivered what we expected, though often later than we’d like. It taking a long time is something we’ve come to anticipate and accept at this point. Also though, because we understand that it’s a necessity. It’s that or the figures don’t get made and there is no business at all. If you’d prefer they not get made at all, that’s a little crazy. You don’t have to buy then either way. We’d like to tell people how to run their businesses so that we ourselves are the most satisfied but that’s not how it works. You’ll notice that even the companies who we respect and hold in high regard like the major stuff is still on a pre order basis. And it probably always will be. There’s actually nothing wrong with it but if you personally don’t like it, you can just not buy the figures.

Personally, I have no issue with pre-ordering (from proven, trustworthy companies) … companies like Major have each BRG series up for preorder for a month which means if someone doesn’t have the money to make a day one purchase then they still have plenty of time with the entire month to place an order … plus, preordering usually ensures that there’s no sell outs because the figures are made to order & that enables everyone to have a fair opportunity to get the figures we want without having to run the risk of having to pay crazy second market scalper prices later on

Man the retro space is crowded but noone is complaining. One company will win in the end with the best sculpts and/or prices. I like epic best atm. Cant wait to see what happens with these

I'm literally just picking and choosing the figures I want from all of these retro companies. Frankly, I'm happy when they put stuff out that I'm not that into, as it means I don't have to bloody buy it!

That Paul Orndorf looks great. Definitely need him to go with the rest of the wrestlemania 1 retros.

it'd be nice if they credited Jason Wulf if they're going to use his work to prototype a toy line

it'd be nice if they credited Jason Wulf if they're going to use his work to prototype a toy line I don’t think it was directly stolen as the idea isn’t *that* original. But they very well could have lifted that idea. At least the legs are better on theirs than the ones he used: http://instagram.com/p/Cu2TjkTPh4u

Rush designed Smoke Train, didn’t he? At any rate, Jason Wulf is a longtime customizer but has no known affiliation with any Retro company.

And people were making Hasbro customs long before him (not that I don’t like his stuff). man I wonder how some of those customs that blew my mind back then would hold up today. People were really creative
