I too canceled my order. I was already on the fence because I’d rather have the brown camo attires of 2000-2001. The scaling made me realize I didn’t want these.

Did Mattel know they f'd up? Doesn't it have more accessories than the other 2 tag packs? It's definitely using more plastic. But it's cheaper than both. Hmmm

I'll personally do a boot-swap or torso swap if his head doesnt look ridiculous on an Otis torso, but if they fix it down the line (even though they're starting to seem like AAA Video Game companies that dont release finished products until 8 months after the initial release) I expect to be able to turn them in for fixed versions like they did with the UE Kane and his unpainted shoulder joint.

i think the head sizes have to be addressed... i quit getting ones with oversized heads. JD McDonough/Austin Elites, type of scaling is what id call, in-scale head size. the issue im assuming is they are vending out different sculptors to work on different figures and thus give us a mixed bag of out of scale heads.
prime example is the Dibiase/Steamboat Creations Ultimate 2 pack...Steamboat has a decent in scale head, while Ted has an over scale head. sculpt is great but thats where it ends.

We’re weeks away from having it shipped and I’m worried that both figures are going to have skin tone paint chips all over em and the joints will be garbage. I just got the CC MDM/Steamboat set and there were errors galore. |

I’m not buying the set because it’s not the Steiners attires I want, but the fact that neither Steiners have MOLDED ON SCULPTED SHORTS says a lot. We’ve waited so long and they still have cheap ass painted on biker trunks. It’s annoying because we have other figures that have those molds and get unique molds. |

The part choices are baffling but honestly if I were to get this I’d keep it MOC which looks great. Outside D-Von wearing a full bandit mask.

It's way past a factory error for it to be that and they aren't like say the MNW DDP with the Austin torso which has come from a production run with multiple figures in a wave where errors are more likely to occur. This was 100% a design choice and I'm fully expecting a cop out response from Bill or more likely - no response at all. |
