My son found this last night in Lancaster PA walmart. Bought it for me. The people who've ordered it from ringside haven't even got theirs yet, I'm sure they will be in soon! I don't have many Okerlunds so I'm happy to have this in my collection.  |

Yeah I'm a bit bummed that I ordered this from Ringside months ago and people are finding them at Walmart already. One of the reasons I ordered it from Ringside was because I knew (?) they'd be the first to get it.
But happy for all that are finding it early, I know mine will eventually come.

Found a set at Walmart tonight during a normal grocery run. So I picked it up, I guess I'll try to cancel my Ringside Order, which isn't due til Late November??? The set wouldn't scan at the register. Took the lady about ten minutes to figure out how to properly charge me. I was honest about the price. I was never wild about this particular Hogan but I'm a huge "Mean Gene" fan so I needed this set in my collection!   Great to have another Mean Gene interviewer for my pics!  I don't love the Hogan that came with this set, but I DO love THIS version from the Target 3-pack!  **Update: E-mailed Ringside this morning & requested to cancel & get a refund, they responded with my refund within 2 hours. While I was a little ticked that this product went to Walmart so early, I can say that Ringside Collectibles has fantastic customer service! |

This might be the best basic 2 pack of all time. Hogan basics always seem to be made very well compared to others and the shirt he has on may very well be a one off. The Mean Gene is great sans the height. Adding in a 1 off title is the icing in the cake. What a release! Waiting for mine from ringside I was lucky to grab when it was put back up for sale after the initial sell out. I wonder if I grabbed the last as it went away soon there after on rsc.

I love the Hogan figure, but why is it so hard for them to make suited bodies the correct height? Jakks was notorious for this too. Suited bodies as tall as the Undertaker. Are they out of Ricardo Rodriguez legs???

Are they out of Ricardo Rodriguez legs??? Ricardo had the old basic legs. They changed the formula when they got rid of the bicep swivel and hinged ankles. And they never went back again! Ever! So now you only get GM Kurt Angle or suited Happy Corbin. AND NOTHING ELSE! |

The set is based on a match from 1984, when Mean Gene & Hulk Hogan teamed up to face Mr. Fuji & George "The Animal" Steele. They did a bunch of clever skits of Mean Gene "Training" for his big ring debut. I'm actually surprised (and very glad) that they didn't use Gene's ring or training attire. I much prefer the announcer attire that they went with.    |

I get that but its not that hard to change the text writing on the shirt last minute and besides that I remember a Vince Hogan 2 pack being listed in the leaked lineups or as a place holder awhile back before the whole vince trial went public |
