OK, so I am still rather new to the ROH product and I have a question or two about catching a live show.
There is a show sorta close to me in Dayton, OH on November 30th, which is a Friday night. There is a show set for the next night in Chicago. What I'm trying to get to is will the show be worth catching, and skipping a kick ass concert which is on the same night or will the better show be saved for Chicago?
If the Saturday shows are better than I might just wait and make it a big trip to catch a PPV taping or something.
Karma for those that can help.

I've been to many ROH shows in Dayton and a few in Chicago. To be honest, it really just depends on which card looks better to you. Both crowds can be really great, but it normally depends on how into it the wrestlers draw the crowd. Go with whoever you want to see more because that'll make it more enjoyable.

ROH sometimes does better Saturday shows. I say Chicago just based on the day and how ROH typically does things.

Most of the time they book the best shows for Chicago and Philly...Edison gets good ones too....ive been to like 6 philly shows including the one where Shima won the belt...ROH live is better than anything you have ever seen dude.

Each ROH show is always has something good on it, or in most cases more then a few good things. I'll be working at both shows.

I agree, you can usually channel a show by the roster. When guys like Marcos & Dunn were being booked, you'd utter who against. But really, like the roster now, the cards turn out really well. There's surprisingly alot of ground ROH can break on every show.
In a nutshell, with the way ROH works, any and every show delivers something you can be glad you seen live.

I tend to think the better shows are in Chicago (biased, maybe) BUT if you've never been, then even their worst show of the year will be worth going to. Because it's awesome. Have fun!
