No hate here if you love Kevin Owens at all, as I always say, it is cool to like different things.
However, I posted something similar to this a while back and after the interview thing he did on Smackdown, I just do not get how any one thinks this latest Kevin Owens heel turn is any good at all. It was so predictable, how anyone did not see this coming is beyond me, yet I see people on social media acting like this is some massive twist and it is amazing and adds so much more drama to the story!
For me, Kevin Owens is like Big Show, he has flipped just far too many times to the point where I do not care at all! He has legit go away heat with me. I know that Cody is the ultimate babyface, but in this situation, he turning heel was the only interesting option here. Owens and Orton have flip flopped a million times to the point any turn they make means nothing at all.
Just wondered if you any of you guys are super invested in this? I get that this may just be a personal thing as that majority of what I am seeing about it is really positive.

I think he could benefit from improving his physique. People will argue no cause that's what makes him unique. But look at Gunther

This is probably my favourite heel turn he’s done because it’s justified rather than just heel turn 17. Him and Orton have spent months fighting the Bloodline and now Cody is teaming with Roman and Orton is siding with Cody so now his friends are allies to his enemies. If Sami joins the all but confirmed War Games match then that should make him go ballistic and complete the heel turn (although we don’t need another Sami and Owens match).

I wouldn't even call it a heel turn.
I feel they are blurring the line of face/heel like they did during the Attitude Era.

Putting him in feuds he won't win doesn't do him any favours.
He has constantly lost to Roman and will most likely job to Cody too.

It is a bit like Big Show at this point. The trouble with his turns was lack of consequences, it lost all meaning. They’ve cooled him off to the point of being stone cold before this turn too so that’s not helpful. Thus this turn also feels short of consequences at this stage… if you’re being kind, there’s possibilities for them to ratchet it up with KO but it’s very hard to justify that optimism since they’re hellbent on “Cody & The Bloodline: belt for hostage” for the next 2-3 years and everyone else then appears entirely weightless in their efforts.

I'm missing what is special about him. Never seen it.
Looks like a backyard wrestler to me

Yeah it does nothing for me because it was so damn predictable. I'm not at all excited by another match between the two unless its in a cage/stip match or something and I genuinely think Owens has one foot out the door and is headed to AEW for some easy schedule dollars.

KO is already on that schedule. He’s had less matches this year than some AEW wrestlers.

I feel like he's too much of a company guy to go anywhere else after this. Plus I think his son is training/interested in wrestling someday so I'd imagine he'd want to stay in wwe's good graces to get him in there.

It kind of has rubbed me the wrong way when he's said in passing in interviews he doesn't expect another world title reign or thinks the fans want one. I'm pretty big on that Steve Austin mindset where you should only be there if you want to be the champion, even if it's not likely.

At least to me. Of course, I could be wrong though.

Actually, I'm wrong for saying that. He point blank said in an interview last year that as much as he'd love another run, he just doesn't think it's something the fans would want to see at the time. I still think everybody should maintain a front of confidence about being the best/deserving of the title as much as possible but I can still respect the transparency. www.wrestlinginc.com/1461083/kevin-owens-doesnt-plan-challenging-undisputed-wwe-champion-roman-reigns/

I think it’s lame.
I feel like he’s gone back and forth and pretty much done everything a baby face or feel can do.
Too many turns.
I think he just hasn’t re-invented himself much recently and it’s just become a bit stale.
Selfishly I think he could’ve been amazing by hopping the fence and going to AEW but he seems pretty content.
Overall just mid at this point. A good hand to be called upon when needed, but imo not driving the product much
I feel like they put him in the main event just enough to make it feels like they still care about him, but he’s just kinda there.

They need heels for Cody to beat. Expect a lot more faces to turn "just because."
